Believe me, where I live it's an actual threat.
I already have kids practically 'murdering' the outside of my flat and the've already pillaged the garden, had everything stolen, even the things that were screwed down, the kids smashed up all my chairs etc. They bang on the doors at all hours, scream through my letterbox, throw chips and ketchup at the windows even tho it's a first floor flat.
There's a whole long post about the problems I have where I live, but I would never, ever leave my door unlocked. I do live alone though and i'm a girl in my early 20s, so it's not worth the risk.
I move out 1st July :-D

It's a pity about your age as I have obtained a nice little device that is still legal here for several people in the UK, it emits a high pitched tone than anyone over the age of about 23 cannot hear, but for the likes of age 7 up to about 20 it is very painful to their ears and can cause severe headaches, trust me it keeps the little chavs well away from your house.
what happens if your postie is 18?0 -

I take it that is a joke. Most posties here have finished their 2nd post round by 11am and are on the way to the pub.Approach her; adore her. Behold her; worship her. Caress her; indulge her.
