6 Months free gym membership when you take out health insurance. Until 30 Nov

Yeap I applied through Quidco last night and currently shown as tracked :T
I am just unsure about 1 thing. If I choose to continue the gym membership after 6 months, I can get it at a discount rate of £25 a month but I'll need to sign a 12 months contract with the gym. Assuming I continued with the gym, what will happen if I decides to cancel the PruHealth insurance sometime during the 12 month contract with the gym?
I presume the discounted fees of £25 is given because I am still a PruHealth customer, so rightfully, the gym should increase my gym fees to normal rate but still enforce the 12 months contract? Can anyone confirm this?

and general question to everyone, when you take up teh offer how long do you have to actually start using the gyms??
I'm using this deal to go to the Holmes Place Gym on the Strand. They were very relaxed. I took the card I got in the Pruhealth pack down to the gym. They let me start using the gym straightaway.0 -
Does anyone know if my girlfriend could apply for this?
She's from the states and has been here since last oct 2005. Her educational visa ended in oct 2006 so she's now on a visitor visa. Next month i'm off to the states so we can get a fiance visa.
The t&c's for taking out health insurance state:
"You and all applicants are ordinarily resident in the UK (i.e. excludes the Channel Islands and The Isle of Man). Ordinary residence is defined as being resident for more than 180 days a year."
She's been here for a year and 2 months. And will hopefully be back to stay for good as of next year.
Is she considered 'ordinarily resident'?
She won't ever claim for the insurance - she just wants cheap membership to a great gym!0 -
i joined today, opened a quidco account and it was showing £115 tracked after 30 mins of completing the pru application. called pru about the gym, they said call back monday for my number to give to cannon.

Well the terms and conditions only really kick in if you make a cliam. You could call yourself Joe Bloggs until that point ....0 -

Just to confirm i just recived my quidco along with some mates
Im bloody happy :d
however my little brother would like to sign up but he is 16 ...is there anyway he could sign up? Also a mate of mine he is 18 in 3 weeks, is there any way he can sign up? Also if he was to show he was 3 weeks older would this lead to any trouble, he just wants to use the gym....0 -
PS. Halil if you are asking for the holmes place in canary riverside, its totally fine. Its a great gym as well, the pool isnt all its cracked upto be!
Ow yeh everday at cannons covent garden i see a lot of people sign up with the pru health, i have actually not seen anyone who has joined without pru. I was told that not many of the pru members come in regularly due to the reason its so cheap. I pay 14.26 per month, i have made it in 2 weeks in a row, couldnt go this week due to personal reasons. I am really gona overuse this membership hehehehehe0 -
My partner wishes to cancel their policy after only being them for a few weeks. is there any penalty for doing this ?0
-
i dont think so you have to cancel in writing thought
I suggest you give them a call and then they will tell you what to do.
I am 100% sure that there is no penalty0
