I have just signed up for this deal.....
was quoted £22.19 a month for PMI (which I will never use as I have PMI through work). membership to Holmes Place is £65 per month (which I was intending to join anyway).......
Saving over £40 per month!

Got my card yesterday. But I've been going to the gym for over weeks already. They don't mind at the Strand Holmes Place - as long as you explain to them.

Go along and see if yours let you in anyway.

I think you're too late, I think you needed to have signed up with PruHealth by 31 Oct. Hopefully they might run a similar offer soon though.

Otherwise try your local leisure centre, they might have good value gym+pool memberships.

Hi has anyone seen the deal La fitness have on their site. https://www.lafitness.co.uk if you sign up with axa insurance you get 6 months free. I was quoted £8.85 per month, but I'm not sure if I could cancel the policy after this time. Anyone any ideas ?

Heres what the terms and cons say:


Receive six months free Club Peak gym membership and save £100 on the joining fee, when you join AXA PPP healthcare - in association with LA Fitness.
Is available at all LA Fitness clubs nationwide (exluding South Kensington).


Is for Club Peak membership only, and can not be transferred to any other membership category.


Is not available in conjuntion with any other offer.


A £25 admin fee is applicable on all memberships, payable to LA Fitness on acceptance of application.


Is available only to those aged 18 and over.


Is available to the policyholder and one other adult named on the AXA PPP healthcare policy.


Is available to new AXA PPP healthcare members paying premiums for a full years' membership of an AXA PPP healthcare policy, incepting before or on 31 December 2006.


The free LA Fitness membership will be cancelled if the AXA PPP healthcare policy is cancelled at any point in the first six months of membership.

I joined up through Quidco in November ,but yet people are saying it finished on Oct 31st then why have Quidco still have it on there site as £115

Discovery, who setup the Pru Health deal through a joint venture with Pru seem to offer discounted gym membership in South Africa through Virgin Active. Hopefully bodes well for continuing to support the offer here once Holmes Place has been converted over fully.
