Healy did the right by asking on these boards.
When you Google you get thousands of useless sites mainly trying to sell you something.

Anyway,an elderly relative of mine has signed up with Zaggle for £5-99 a month (dial-up) which suits her, but you are only allowed sixty hours a month.
On further investigation I have discovered that Zaggle is an offshoot of Breathe internet which I believe is £7-99 a month unlimited download,anytime.(dial-up)
I`m not recommending any, just pointing out the two cheapest options.
  • I have been using Myinternetpass cards for some time no problems. £10 for 80 hours for 30 days. This month i look like i am getting less than 30 days so i have sent 3 Emails to the support desk and got 0 replies. Thinking of changing to Zaggle. Anyone got any ideas?

I signed up with Zaggle after having similar problems with MIP cards and have had no problems ever since. So far so good with Zaggle - connects first time and doesn't disconnect me without notice.

    Hope this helps.
  • Hi, I purchased a £10 card for Internet Access 2000 minutes for myinternetpass mip from my local shop.
The dial up number 0808 9916230 for internet access is NEVER available even at 3am and after dialing 60 or more times.
Searching the internet brings up a page from myinternetpass website saying the dial up number changed in 2006!! Sadly this number will not answer either.

I have emailed and emailed the company to no response, their helpline is 50p per minute and I'm not prepared to hand over any more money to this company.

Does anyone still use this companyand actually gain access to the Internet, today August 2008, are the company still operating?

I would be really grateful if anyone who has any recent experience, good or bad reply before I take issue with the shop staff, who are not particularly IT savvy I noticed.
    Thanks

    Thanks

This link goes to a thread three years old and MIP was as useless then as it is now.

Lost £10 ---- put it down to experience and move on.
