Politeness and apologies to the victim of this fraud should be appropriate.
Ouch! Now there's someone with a real idea of customer service.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

Politeness and apologies to the victim of this fraud should be appropriate.Fraud = A deception deliberately practiced in order to secure unfair or unlawful gain.
There are no doubt pricing errors within the store that I work in, some even the fault of my department however I can guaruntee that NOT one of them is the result of fraud. There is no deliberate attempt to defraud ANY customer of money.
Politeness and kindness should however be shown to all customers that exhibit the same.....Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

Can you prove that the errors are deliberate? If so then i suggest that you call the fraud squad....if not then you need to review the wording within your posts.

Perhaps not by the individual per se but the organisation in its comlacency with regards to pricing integrity could be considered to be acting fraudulently.
See further explanations under busines terms in your own post.
Intentional deception resulting in injury to another. Fraud usually consists of a misrepresentation, concealment, or nondisclosure of a material fact, or at least misleading conduct, devices, or contrivance.Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
what is the clubpoints thing mentioned in mcdonags signature???
My signature was so out of date and I can't think of a new one!0 -
I think that the key word here is intentional...there is not one person within tesco that i have met that i believe would intentionally mislead customers in order to overcharge.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

I felt like I had a beacon on my head and the biggest grin in the whole world !!!
just reading through the posts and would like to comment that I personally think that for every person who is "overcharged" by Tesco on a wrong SEL and who doesnt notice, by tesco giving me my R&R I am sort of levelling things up, but Tesco are the ones who are still making the millions!!
Thanks

Actually the keyword is complacency, if the company is not seen to be doing all that is reasonably expectable and achievable to ensure price integrity it can be viewed as contrivance the question is are they?Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0

You are paid by the company and your annual pay rise is determined by company profits. Your free shares are also determined by company profits. Your whole position is governed by company profits. The less profit a company makes the less staff it can afford to employ. If your job role entails giving away company profits then it directly affects your pay, free shares and indirectly your job security. If you can really say that you would be happy giving money away under these circumstances then there must be something wrong with you....after all it is actually your money or at least some of it is.
With all due respect my refunds will not on its own affect company profits. my refund is the tip of a very large iceberg and the profits made by Tesco are excessive. i dont accept this argument in practice. maybe on a smaller scale!
its like my work colleage having a go at me for getting bank charges refunded. whether i did or did not get them refunded will not make the bank change their mind. you have jump on the bandwagon.0
