as many of you may know by now, I'm moving to Melbourne at the end of October
it seems that Tescos may be buying out one of the big Auzzie supermarkets
R+R down under guys, we'll need to start a new thread in November :rotfl:money saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

Rubbish, not our job to check whether or not the SEL is in date, its Tesco's. Your friend should have been given a full R&R. They are still advertising the product at 2 prices.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -

Exactly right. The "refund the differnece" stage is just one step away from the "I`ll have to call a manager to discuss this" stage.
Which is normally followed by the "he said you should have a refund - aren`t you lucky ?" stage. (While one of the CS staff fumes behind the counter, as if it`s their own cash they are losing)
Persevere young Padawan, the path to R + R can be rocky at times, and littered by many unhelpfull CS staff.Badgers badgers badgers .......0 -

eg, i just got a digital camera case that said offer expired 16/08/06, but took it to the til and got it for the cheaper price. Fair enough, but I didn't really need to buy a digital camera case today, I just did it because I thought I might as well whilst it was free.
I'm going to try taking the item back this week. I think they might accept it back if it's in same condition and tags on etc. I'll just say "oops, it's not the right size for my camera"
When I first started R&Ring I used to be of the mind to get everything that could possibly be free, I was like a kid in a candy store, now however I tend to only R&R things that are of use to me or I'll eat. I found it wasn't worth the hassle of getting things just for the sake of it, and raising my profile at the CS desk (only 1 big T's in my area). Please don't be offended or think I'm having a go, its just my opinion. However you can take the case back no problems! I've done it many times for things I don't want.{Signature removed by Forum Team}0 -
this isn't exactly a R and R question hope u don't mind me posting it here but does anyone know if tesco will take stuff back without a reciept i've got some baby bottles i wanna return its less than 28 days since been bought i haven't opened the box or packet and used my clubcard. Do u think they take them back and give me store credit? For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.0

The returns policy is as long as the product is in its original condition and obviously a product that comes from tesco then a refund will be given - in this case probably in the form of a gift card.....Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!

sparklewings wrote:Can I just ask..... do you guys go to the supermarket and specifically set out to find R & Rs? Or do you just so happen to notice them and then cash in on them as and when?
I deliberately set out to find r&rs, however, I just get what I need at the time!! (watch the posts come in now)

The posts dont need to come in, if you just get what you need then whats the problem? If however you were getting 6 of one cd (a debate that has been done to death) then thats another matter. If you get what you need for free because people are failing in their jobs then fair play.Fight Poverty - Hit a tramp!
