do you find smacking a 2.5 year old settles them down?

If it doesn’t step it up a bit, nothing wrong with a tazer or cattle prod. Maybe a few hours sensory deprivation followed by sleep deprivation.

You were asked to leave and then they changed their mind, so you went back in, and ate the wrong, cold food?? And THEN paid for it? :rotfl::rotfl:

Come off it, really?? What did you do that for???

If I got asked to leave somewhere and then was asked to go back, I'd tell them to fig off!

My wife would have. Unfortunatly this is where the personal family issues come into it.

Rock and hard place. Principles vs Family 60th celebration.

And the rest of the family were going to stay and watch us leave.

So as my opinion differs from 3/4 of you I am acting like a 12 year old child?

I have neither insulted or sworn at any of you, I just disagree with your comments. Unfortunately you lot can't do the same.

It's quite obvious that neither of us sides are going to give in so I won't bother arguing with any of you anymore.

TOYS OUT OF PRAM......and he says being smacked as a kid did him no harm.He must have had a very tolerant mother :rotfl:

Maybe when he grows up a bit he will see that life is not so black and white, bless him

Now you see my Nan is 71 this year, and I always remember being told to behave particularly well for her and my late grandad, and I can honestly say that not one of my two surviving grandparents would have sat and watched us be asked to leave, they would have left with us and we'd have taken our custom somewhere else.

Having said that I think even the deceased ones would have done the same!

My whole family would have walked out together. We would have phoned for takeaway delivery to a family members house before letting anyone split us up at a family do. If the rest of your family weren’t up to doing that I would have left them to themselves anyway.

So you were humiliated and asked to leave, paid for wrong, cold food, sat in a corner, and all for family celebration who would have quite happily sat on their backsides and watch you leave?

    Charming.
