You need a plane to go to France?
If you live in Cumbernauld it's easier, cheaper and quicker to get a plane than to drive.
I also didn't realise I was restricted to France for holidays. I'd like to see you get a train, or drive to Cape Town or New York.Wha's like us - damn few, an' they're a' deid

Why do you have to take a child to Cape Town and New York? Why can't you wait until they are older?
My mum purposely didn't take me on a plane until I was teen because of this. And now that I have been on many plane journeys, I understand why. Although I will admit, some children on planes are very well behaved.0 -

Of course you are mate! You have children! You can no longer eat out or holiday anywhere other than Butlins (dont take the train there!) regardless of how well behaved your children are Lokolo has tarred them all with the same brush.0 -
I know. Thats not what Older not Wiser person said was it? They said that children can't go abroad without a plane. When in fact, this is false.
You don't have to get on a plane to go abroad. That was my point.
Show me where I said that.Wha's like us - damn few, an' they're a' deid

Excuse me?! Who the hell are you to tell people where they should and shouldn't take their children and at what age!? its none of your business whatsoever.0 -

People need to train their kids to behave and unfortunately a hell of a lot of them dont:mad::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
"Given the fact I am 21"
Really? Sounds more like the nonsense a twelve year old would speak.
Perhaps you should go back to your mother for another smack, this time with a shovel. :rotfl:0 -
did I read correctly that some halfwit said that the 2 and a half year old should have been smacked to shut it up?!? _pale_
I really, really hope they're not responsible for any children... EVER!!!!
OP, forget about it and move on, complaining about the food at the time is the only way anything could have been done, that aside they sound quite rude so I wouldn't be going back and spending money where people treat you like crap!!0 -
Why? I got smacked when I was a little s*** and I have turned out fine. Never done drugs, only smoked a few times, never been in trouble with police (apart from the other end of an assault).
Given the fact I am 21, have a decent job, and will be going back to uni to graduate next year, and hopefully go back to working at one of the best companies in the world, I feel as though this is through how I have been brought up.
We agree to disagree quite clearly on this.
in the OP's case the child was hungry,is that worthy of a smack?0
