Laser mole removal?

There are two doctors at the nottingham clinic that do radio wave. the first is dr maini (who pioneered procedure) but supposedly he rarely does this now and dr hamilton is the doctor they book you into. Which doctor has the charge against him? If your mole keeps coming back then a good plastic surgeon would probably be your best option. Saying that Id personally like you to try radio wave at nottingham so I can finally hear from someone whose had the procedure!! And the answer is yes, I have been left with an indentation and scar from radio wave altho as said perviously I do believe there are different radio wave procedures (they can cut if used in such a way) but I dont believe nottingham uses radio wave in this way.0

Dr Maini is the one that was charged. I don't think I will do this until I have found someone that has had the procedure themselves at that clinic.0

I wrote to the plastic surgeon who did the shave excision of my mole and asked about a permanent solution, since it had come back. As expected he said the next stage would be a surgical removal, but that scarring cannot be quantified as everyone heals differently.
So now I have to decide whether to go to the Nottingham Laser clinic and go with the 'no scarring' radio wave option or go to the plastic surgeon and more than likely be left with a noticeable scar, looks like the laser clinic wins, but still I haven't heard of anyone that has actually been there and had the treatment.0 -
Has anyone heard of the Snowberry Lane Clinic? They are offering radio frequency mole removal and are much closer to me than Nottingham Laser Clinic.
I would be interested to know if anyone has had any experience of this clinic. I have spoken to them on the phone and they only have the equipment at their Wiltshire location, but it would still be nearer to me than Nottingham.
Many thanks in advance0 -
No i hadnt heard of it but have just had a look on their site and agree it sounds quite interesting. I wonder if they use the same equipment/procedure as nottingham? Not exactly sure how to find out but this clinic is much much closer for me too. Would be interested to hear anyone who has had treatment there aswell.0

It sounds like they do use the same equipment; radio frequency. I have made initial enquiries and I think they said it is £230 for initial consultation and first mole removal and then £70 for each mole thereafter. (I did write it down, but can't find it!)
I have watched the proceedure done on Youtube and the results look impressive.0 -
cheaper than Nottingham by £70 then. I was quoted £300 there. I am thinking of making an appointment in the very near future, just wish I could find someone that has had it done!0

I've had several moles removed over the years ie from arm, top of leg, side of face and you would hardly notice the scar tissue. Really wouldn't worry too much and I'd rather have a minute scar than an unsightly mole anytime.0

what method of removal did you have? I've already had 2 shave excisions on the same mole and it has just come back exactly the same, which indicates it's very deep, which is why I'm very wary of having a surgical removal, as it would need to have a deep cut, that's why I'm hoping to hear from anyone in a similar position that has had the radio treatment at Nottingham.0

The others were removed at a local hospital. The one of my arm was fairly large and needed 3 stiches and that has a glossy finish to it but not really noticeable because of the location. The one on the side of my face close to my ear was also removed at the hospital and again needed a couple of stitches. Can understand why you would prefer to use another method.
Good luck and hope you find someone to help.0
