Hi lovelies,
Quick flying visit as I just can't keep up, but the fairies have a couple of random things:
Almost full tub of fenugreek tablets - good for milk supply apparently, begrudge chucking them when I paid £8 and only took a few!
Some milk storage bottles - same as these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Axifeed-Breast-Milk-Storage-Freezer-Bottles-200ml-x6_W0QQitemZ370365853464QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=&rvr_id=&cguid=47fa43531230a0aad536ad06fe8af566
There's about 4, will be a few more once I've emptied those in the freezer. Have been used a couple of times but will be clean and sterile so I think ok?
PM me if anyone wants eitherCan't guarantee I'll ever manage to make it back to spot a request on here!
Kindof, Elliot's gorgeous
Quick baby update - he's now 10lb 14oz at 4 weeks, health visitor was impressed by his 'talking' and smiling& breastfeeding/expressing has stopped, I couldn't cope with the mastitis anymore (still not clear), but he's happy so I'm happy
Will try & get back and catch up properly soon, in the meantime hugs to those in need, lots of healthy vibes to Krystal's nephew & others as appropriate xxBaby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
Buyagift.co.uk has it for £59 and there's Quidco, plus I have a 10% code I can PM you
OOh, please lovely!
Is my thanking more than yours? I thank to remember where i'm up to, and only don't thank anything that annoys me!(Or maybe I miss one or two out accidentally).
ETA: No, you're the biggest thanker.:beer:0 -
Krystal - I didn't do half bad! Can't remember exactly, but the grand total was around £1k value of prizes...it's so hard to keep up with though, and I'm an all-or-nothing type of person which is why I haven't done it in over a year
. I miss the winning, though!
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!
:xmassmile Mummy to Finn - 12/09; Micah - 08/12! :j0 -
I start off the day with good intentions of thanking everyone, then end up stopping because it's pretty annoying to do on this laptop, I need a mouse.
How is everyone? I've done the dishes, done some ironing and just about to hang out some clothes on the washing line! Not like me at all, I'm usually still sitting on my bum trying to wake up about now!0 -

hehe, I think everyone's paranoid and thanking all the time now. I reckon mine's only quite high because I used to do competitions everyday for about a year.
If I'm skimming & catching up then I just thank posts that ................................
respond to something I've asked, ask a question I'm interested in knowing the answer to, an interesting/useful/informative post or something that makes me smile or laugh. Piccies get thanks cos I lurve piccies!oh & milesones get thanks too,
I normally thank as I go along if I'm keeping up but sometimes I don't bother if its just general chit chatA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -

Jillie - I find Nurofen better for teething but that could just be J!
Yay for another tooth *jealous*
AF - You asked where I got the Amber teething anklet from.
It was eBay - I bought from DinoDaisy but Boo got Isla's necklace from the seller in Latvia. Mine arrived today (bought it Thursday) its 17cm which is slightly too big for his ankle (its already fallen off once!) but I figure he'll grow into it. Its round his calf right now :rotfl:
We went for the anklet cos OH was pancking about the necklace.
Just found out that as J is in the creche at work I can get full salary sacrifice for paying it for it - would only get £243 in vouchers but can pay the whole £600 before I pay tax & NI :jA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

havent tried the nurofen. one of the mums at his nursery recommended calprufen.
thats fab getting the salary sacrifice. not worth my while as only need nursery 2 days.
have you thought anymore bout OH's idea of working less days, but more hours??'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Thanks for all the BLW advice. I struggle with food issues as I don't eat much myself and hate cooking but I need to start making more of an effort for Erin. So cut grapes in half, nuts ok but chopped/flaked and generally lots of chip sized fruit and veg. What about peas and raisins? My sis thought the only way for them to eat peas was if they were mashed because of the shells. Are raisins too small to choke on?
