thank you for all your stories mel was nice enough to send me the link to OU so me and philip are gonna spend tomorrow thinking about what it is we want to do .. philip wants to look in to music (hes very good at it) and im going to see .. my gcses were terrible but hopefully they wont mind ..

They don't mind about past qualifications. Some higher courses say it's best to have studied course xxx before you start, so watch out for that. It's best to start with an Openings or Level 1 course though as they're easier and it helps you get the hang of it!
Here I go again on my own....

Hmmm, on second thought, swimming was a very bad idea the day after jabbies. Thought he was relatively fine this morning, but turns out he is still very grouchy. We had to leave after only about 10 minutes in the water, so quite a waste of money there. Oh well, hopefully he'll be in better spirits next time. Need to grab some lunch, as am starvin marvin.

Jenny - I think peas and raisins are meant to be ok. Holly doesn't like lumps, but she did manage to swallow a bit of my hot cross bun - I know because the raisin came out the other end!! Babies gag reflex is meant to be good so it should be difficult for them to properly choke, but I am still a bit wary as she has choked on toast, stage 2 jar, and a rice cake!! Although I think advice is finger foods from 7 months so not sure if Erin is a bit young, but you know how her development is yourself.

Glam/Jillie - while you are about - how much would your LO eat for lunch as a portion? I am mixing jars and home made. Would you expect them to eat a full stage 1 jar for lunch? I struggle to get Holly to eat half a jar. Not really worried at this stage, she is eating 3 meals a day, just small portions, but I just wondered what a "normal" portion is.

Jack is on the Stage 3 jars (10m) and eats half of one at a time (think they are 250g) followed by a dessert which is either a banana, an orange, a petite filous or a C&G dessert which is the same size as an adult yogurt. If he has anything HM it's usually half a bowl full which is about the same as half a jar, he has fish pie, chicken curry & rice, baby pasta and a sauce, spag bol, roast dinner, sandwiches, quiche, scrambled egg, toast whatever really

I've given Jack peas, I just squeeze them first. He's not had raisins yet though,

Is MFD about? I wanted to thank her for mentioning the Debenhams codes, it was suggested that I buy new bedding to go with our enew bed and I got lovely stuff for 15% off and free delivery.
And as if by magic, the shopkeeper appeared!

Busy morning here. Toddle group followed by a lovely hour visit with the lovely Krystal and her girls. Hubby has been disturbingly productive whilst we were out... worrying Lol

Glam, while you're on, I'm ever so sorry but my PC had a meltdown on thursday and I'm reinstalling all my software, but it looks like I'm going to have to buy a new copy of photoshop (£300:eek:)

    So there'll be a bit of a delay on J's piccie :(

Please feel free to send to anyone else if it's more urgent than that, but I hopefully will be all systems go by next weekend, depending on shipping times for the new software. Sorry about that.

If it's any help, Feelie's OH does a bit of photoshoppery and also I think GISI is knowledgeable about photographs as is Angela...

Blimey wheres everyone gone... just back from nice walk along the Thames with boys and dog (who went swimming). decided to fill paddling pool with water to find that it has a hole in it  luckily our neighbour gave us a shell pool which we have had all the balls in so using that on a temporary measure... hope you all having a nice afternoon... must go and do ironing in a minute  oh well ups and downs of life eh!!
Mum to 2 lovely boys who keep me busy.
  • Another lovely day here.

NCT brunch this morning was okay. Nice to catch up with some friends and people were very impressed with my gorgeous boy's hair, rolling over and sitting!

I think you've confused me with some clever person Weezl as I am decidedly ungood at photoshop. Mr GISI is a bit of a whizz on it, but as we are on holibobs next week, I won't offer his services this time.

I have no contact lenses to take on holiday, which is disappointing. I ordered some in my new prescription over a week ago, but they haven't arrived and I had an email to say they've been delayed. So typical- I've never know them take more that 48 hours before, maybe something to do with the air travel issues. I've been round all the opticians in town and none have my brand and my prescription in stock. So I will be blind as a bat behind my sunglasses next week as I don't have any prescription sunnies. Luckily OH will be with me to drive.

On the food front H is similar to Toby and will usually have half a Tommee Tippee pot of puree or half a jar or sachet. Sometimes he'll eat a while one at dinner and he has been known to gum a whole banana (although a lot ends up down his front).

Don't know about normal, K will have an equivilant jars worth for lunch and dinner plus pudding (from frais usually). He has massive bowl of porridge with full fruit pot mixed in for breakfast. Will also snack on whatever I'm eating or will have some toast or rice cakes.
    He has 3 x 5oz and 2x 7oz bottles a day too.

Buying the license like? Can you not accquire??
I'm ignorant about theses things but is it not just a disc??

Please excuse all spelling disasters, am very tired today. Have been to the beach and for some f&c.
Hardly slept at all last night and can see 4 more teeth under the gums! They are a bit off coming through but hes being a rubbish sleeper.
He also decided last night that sleeping on his front with his face in a blanket flat down was clever. Ended up rolling a blanket up so he couldn't get onto his front. Lying on his front with his face to the side is fine cos he can get himself forward and back but trying to smother himself face down is not. Dafty baby!
