and why oh why just as i have changed K's nappy does he now decide to poo!!

Dontcha know it's much nicer to poop in a lovely fresh clean nappy!

I wouldn't worry about food yet hunny - just continue to let him play with it and he'll eat it when he's good and ready.

GLAM - I really second this advice......If you find you really NEED him to nap at a certain time..........I have always found it best to observe, you will probably observe over the space of a week or so that he has his own daytime bodyclock, it may not be wholly convenient for you but I have always found it better to go with babies natural routine first then you can maybe play with it a bit by moving his natural nap-time ever so slightly each day until he is napping at a better time for all of you:)

I know this is not the advice you probably want but the minute I stopped worrying about Benjamin napping during the day (ie - just leaving him to it and waiting until he was really shattered or in his buggy or the car or whatever) that things fell into place. Fighting to get him to sleep has never worked...just made me into an emotional wreck.

Like MFD says, probably not exactly what you are after doing, but it does make life so much easier:)

    Morning everyone....have caught up:)
Can you believe I got up a 9.15 as that is what time K slept till:eek: I think he was busy growing:p

:eek: DH had this right before I met him. Glad Glam's not around to hear the horror stories, but I'm sure her hospital is MUCH better than his was. Pass on our good luck vibes, etc.? Poor girl will be there for a week or so now. I hope they've given her mega drugs for the pain.
