I'm not Sami but if it's any help, we didn't start giving Alice food till seven months and she didn't start eating really until ten months.

Yes north west word for a disagreeable person. Think Victor Meldrew. Except OH is a younger version, but just as miserable.:rotfl:

fergie's only just started having bigger portions jillie, he would just play around with food really :o

I used to read about seth and benjamin's food intake and feel really worried, especially breakfast, where a quarter to a half weetabix was all he'd take for ages and ages (and maybe only 2 spoons at 8 months)

thats me :o worrying that cos Glams' Jack is eating so much and Kian will (like fergie) play with the food and then lose all interest. he seems to like eating when we're eating but even then its 1 or 2 bites. i know he'll get there eventually.
he will only open his mouth for a fromage frais or fruit puree. everything else is finger food. although i guess that might be better as his hand/eye co-ordination is fantastic. and he can really pick up small things and his eyes capture the smallest of things that he has to hold.
