Morning all..
Get well soon Glam! *hugs* Morphine is lovely stuff
I managed to sleep in 'til half nine, then lie in bed for half an hour and got up. It is nice not to be running around sorting a little person's brekkie etc but I'm bored now and miss him! Will go pick him up at lunchtime-ish. Mum said he's fine, ate all his tea last night, slept all night and is now "sharing" Grandad's scrambled egg for breakfast
Not sure on plans for today. See about some lunch then a trip to the shops I think - fridge looks empty but I'm not really sure what we need iykwim.
Oh, got a letter from the Child Trust Fund people this morning. Apparently if your child get DLA at middle rate you get an extra £100 a year automatically put into their CTF or £200 if they get higher rate
Hope everyone has a good day xx0 -

Morning all,
Get well soon Glam (((hugs)))
I go missing for a couple of day's, come back and the layout's all changed and there's a whole new parliament being set up on the Parenting Thread :rotfl::rotfl:
I was lurking on my phone during Isla's 2.30 'yawn' feed so apologies for not thanking people but it crashes my phone, my gorgeous daughter grabbed it the other day and before I managed to wrestle it back she's dribbled in it that much that it now keeps telling me 'This is not an official iphone accessory'!! No, it isn't, it's dribble you stupid phoneAnd the sounds gone a bit funny so I may have to give in and get a new phone.
Krystal - I do the turning my back on Isla but staying in the room too. If she can see my face when she stir's she think's it's time to play. My OH say's I'm doing a Nabu from the Mighty Boosh! If you don't watch it that won't make any sense though :rotfl:
Koag - I'm another one who swears by stretchy slings for newborn's, their more forgiving than a woven wrap when your tying as well and can be pre-tied onto you then left on all day like a top just popping E in and out when needed. The massaging effect on their little bellies is really good for colic. They don't need to be expensive either, I made Isla's first stretchy with material from my local market and it cost about £2. (Then I discovered the sling love and started spending a fortune on them) If you want any advice or useful link's feel free to pm me. And lot's and lot's of hugs to you too, it's so hard when their crying and it feel's like nothing your doing helps but the very fact you are concerned by it show's that your a good Mam :A
