Sending love and hope you feel better soon xx
I had mine out when I was 17 and they only kept me in for 48 hours afterwards. I would have been out sooner but I don't do general anaesthetics and threw up and passed out a couple of times when I was coming round
You must take it easy afterwards though - no lifting or running about. Make sure you get plenty of rest and plenty of help.Krystaltips wrote: »
Mum just rang, nephew's picked up an infection and is in hospital
*hugs* and hope he is ok xx
Thinking about doing the Race for Life to raise money for Cancer Research. Not sure about it though, but have been measuring. If I run out to the main road, right through our village, then up the back roads and all the way around the newer houses, then back down home again, that's nearly 5k!Here I go again on my own....0 -

You don't have to run it - most people walk itThe one thing children wear out faster than shoes is parents:D

Krystal lot's of infection fighting vibes for your nephew.
Becles - I did the race for life a couple of year's ago and I'm the most unfit person everLot's of women jog, walk or leisureley stroll it too if you don't fancy running the whole 5k.
Isla's just had porridge for the first time, I've been giving her the odd finger foods as i've been waiting to do BLW/Finger food weaningwith her but OH has been curious since I brought the sachet home (courtesy of Glam's fairies!) She snaffled the lot and was looking for more even after gumming a finger of toast. She let me know boob was still required by grabbing my top and pulling it down straight after too :rotfl:
Caz - hope Charlie's ok. And what's wrong with odd shoes?! I once, after a very drunken night out managed to get myself to work feeling much the worse for wear only to realise halfway through the day I had odd shoe's onBelly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

Get well soon Glam. xG
I was thinking more along the lines of "Ha, OH and ILs will have to cope with Jack overnight and might appreciate Glam a bit more!"
AgreeGlam, get well soon hun, and milk it for all you've got!
Also agree.
Take it easy Glam, I know it must be very hard for you and you must be clammering to get back to Jack. Hopefully some good will come out of it, in that your OH will see, how bloody damn hard your life is, and that's before going back to work.
I would offer my mobile no. too, but i've left the stupid thing in work and it's driving me mad, knowing I can't get it.
Joe out playing, Alex having a little doze in his swing and Still grumpy OH has taken his mum to see his dad in hospital. He has had a hip replacement in a hospital somewhere is Wales, about an hour and a half away, so will be gone all afternoon. But at least I won't have to look at his miserable face, ha ha.0 -
