Tia, Maddy has been a bit weird for the last few nights. She goes down ok as usual, but wakes crying between 11 and 12. Nothing calms her, we've tried leaving her so last night we bought her in our bed and she went straight off. 15mins later she went back in her cot and stayed all night. Any ideas?

oops, nothing wrong with your chats but did fall asleep with Tom feeding and we both have had a good snooze. DP came home with a huge carton of hungry baby milk for trying at bedtime so here's hoping for at least 5 hours tonight especially as he is on silly shifts this week and needs sleep too.

Interesting all this about car seats - I had been thinking of getting one for group 1-3 and thats done for the next 10 years but maybe I need to rethink.

Well now have my 3rd coldsore in 2 weeks! totally fed up so called the doctor who has done me a script for some zovirax or something, also gonna get me some multivits cos am obviously run down and these will help make sure am at least getting a good balance of the important stuff. Dogs colar also bust today so cant walk him till I get a new one and dopey OH has taken the car so cant get to pet shop. So got that to do when he finnishes as well as getting to walk in centre to have manky finger cauterized and re dressed again.
I've read about an infa-red pen that you put on coldsores and it's supposed to be fantastic at clearing them up... Can't remember where I read it from though lol... My Aunt was going to get one to try because she used to suffer with awful ones... But then she got cancer and the chemo seems to have killed them off... Not recommending that course of treatment though obviously ;)

Edit, ooh here it is... And available on prescription!!

lady at the breastfeeding helpline was great - told me I was doing a great job, you'll get through it and a load of stuff about early weaning (or not), actually told me nothing that the sensible rational person in me didn't already know and that's reassured the knackered irrational person in me. She did recommend a book about weaning which I'll look into - anyone come across it and is it any use? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Baby-led-Weaning-Helping-Your-Baby/dp/0091923808
Glad you spoke to someone and are feeling better :) I have the book... I have barely cracked the spine... I winged it lol... I'd offer to send you my copy but I have no idea what I did with it since I read about 1 chapter when I was pregnant :o you can probably find out all you need to know online anyway...

anyone know of any real shops that would have lustre for cakes in?
Hobby craft is your friend :) (Don't bother with the edible glue though, it's basically thick sugar water...)

Just made a smoothie with Aimee in the [STRIKE]cheap nasty [/STRIKE]smoothie maker my sister bought her [STRIKE]probably from the poundshop[/STRIKE] for her birthday... Ended up pouring it into a jug and using the hand blender... Aimee's drunk about 1/4 of a small glass... Caitlyn couldn't get enough of it!!!

She's now rocking herself on her little rocking horse... I still can't get over the fact she's developed enough to climb on and rock herself... She's growing up so quick!!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

mum all booked on ferry tonight, been to manc and booked train ticket as well. will miss her to bits as its nice having a cuppa made for me and dinner cooked. and she looks after Kian in the morning so i can have a extra sleep.

interesting bout car seats. i must admit at first i was thinking more about the price, but then i realised that the cheaper seats are the minimum standards and that is not always a good thing. we're quite lucky in not having the car at the moment, but when we did i had bookmarked a few of the britax ones. PIL are getting one to have but when they went to check, none will fit in FIL car so need to go back with MIL car.

http://www.makeawishcakeshop.co.uk/onlineshop/results1.asp?Category=249 - yes I know it's not a real shop but I used this gold spray on my bro's wedding cake last year and it was about the same price from a local real shop - did the job perfectly. Fortunately DP's panel spraying skills were most handy!

Erin has the same shoes as Alice!
I think the rear car seat position should be promoted to parents, All my car seats are britax and they can be rear facing up until a certain weight. I have a website that has rear facing seats that i will post when i find it! it also has the harnesses and extra staps to keep kids like Charlie in and safe!

good news on the sales Tia!!! really need to get my but in gear and ebay Erins things! last count i had 7 boxes of clothes under the stairs that dont fit! thats not including all the other bits and pieces lying around lol!

Amber does that, and usually about the same time too. I figured she was either cold or had a bad dream? Same as Maddy, a cuddle next to me and she falls straight asleep.

If it is a bad dream (I know night terrors can start early), if you can rouse her but not wake her, it will interrupt the sleep cycle enough to stop the dream (we used to do that with DS1). Beyond that, no ideas. What is she like when she wakes? Is she actually awake, rather than just screaming with her eyes open?
