tia - Natalie is correct the Eclipse is a good seat as is the Priori SP and if you look about can usually be found sub £100, in terms of what you need to look for the most important thing is it fits your car. If you look at other makes then make sure you look at reviews, personally I'd stay away from anything that looks cheap and plastic and is made by companies like teamtex or My Child they barely meet safety requirements. Which is good for reviews as long as you try seats in your car.
Susan - I dont have anything to back up that statement its what I've been told by Britax who I did all my training with, I had asked them why we dont stock there rear facing stage 2 seat and it was part of the explanation. its sold in a few stores across the country but they say majority of people who buy it are those with special needs children who like babies have issues supporting themselves. Out of intrest what make is your seat?Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

I finally sold those bibs, £9.99 free delivery. And my crib went for £26
Very pleased.
Although I did have a question for the bumbo, I listed it to start at £14.99 (they do go for that) and someone asked if I would accept £15. I sent a reply saying that the bidding starts at £14.99, but now I don't know if I sounded rude. I'm aware that I am coming over as abrupt recently...0 -
When buying Sam's new carseat the biggest problem I found was getting a decent non-isofix one for our 11 year old car. I looked around quite a bit, but our budget was really, really tight. Now I'm feeling a bit bad about not trying to stretch it a bit more to get one of the brands mentioned. I must admit, I was one of the 'there are safety standards, so they must all be decent' group. Although I did look ours up on a few review sites before pressing 'buy'!0
