And I thought that was part of an Mot, but I'm not sure. :o
Yeah i think it is, and if my seatbelts failed i wouldn't just put it down to one of those things. The parents of that boy are saying it's unsafe to use the adult seatbelt, but if it's gonna unclip then it'll do that for anyone.

    Evening,

    I've had a catch up.

Hello, well done, hugs to everyone.

Car seats - We have the same seat as Glam - it was the only one that would fit in our old car, we did have it fitted properly when we changed cars.

We're in the process of researching what seat to get Katie once she outgrows this one.

Before purchasing I've had a look round to see what was available but have then been guided by what has fitted our cars the best.

K: Are you a girl mummy?
    Me: Yes
K: me a girl or boy?
    me: a girl
    K: oh a girl. Daddy a girl?
    me: no, he's a boy

The funniest thing was watching Katie twisting her tongue around saying girl.

:( just failed the credit check for Vodaphone so no shiny new phone - I was expecting it with the DMP but I had to have a go. I've just spotted the same phone on PAYG so that is the next is now on the saving up list after holiday spends and more memory for the laptop.
Proud to be dealing with my debts
    DD Katie born April 2007!
3 years 9 months and proud of it
    dreams do come true (eventually!)

Thanks! they were the only place I could think of but wasn't sure if they'd be in store
I got some for Caitlyn's dedication cake when the stuff I ordered online didn't come in time... So I have 2 pots of sparkle... And I'd offer to send you some, but I'm guessing you're not after pink? ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Erin has the same shoes as Alice!
I love them because I never have to polish them - I used to do the previous ones every day and they still ended up looking a much worse state.

I preferred it to all the other 0+ ones, as it is so high and she can see out the back window rather than the back of the car seat, so can actually see more than if she was forward facing.
I agree - when we got the rear facing seat (Alice had been forward facing for a year) Alice suddenly started talking about everything we were passing as we drove along.

(though correct me if I'm wrong, isofix is no safer than a CORRECTLY fitted car seat, it just takes away any risk of incorrectly fitting the seat iyswim)
You are right. Before Alice was born I read in some baby magazine that around 70% of carseats using seat belts are fitted incorrectly whereas with ISOfix the figure was really small.

Thanks for posting the pictures Susan. I was wondering where her legs went too! I bet Alice was puzzled as to why she got plonked in the car so you could take pictures of her legs :D
I just told her what I was going to do and she obliged. She did think we ought to go to the Botanical Gardens though.

We saw a lady we haven't seen for a while when we were out with the dogs. She spoke to Charlotte and said she had forgotten her name and asked what it was. Charlotte told her she was called Michael Finnegan :rotfl::rotfl:
I'll have to tell OH about that - Alice is almost always going by different names and he worries that it's really strange or something.
