  • Hubby is fine thanks.

He went to bed early again last night but says he felt a lot brighter for a second early night in a row.

I, on the other hand, was working until 1am, in work by 7.30am and have been in Warrington training a ton of operatives.

Benjamin had a bit of a temperature this morning so glad he was with MIL for the day. He is fine in himself (a little bit whingy) but still a bit warm this evening. Dumb mummy forgot to give him calpol before I put him down so I will be keeping a close eye on him.

He was very cute walking around kissing everything tonight - including cars, the sofa and the TV!!!

How is everyone - off to catch up.

    Happy Birthday Charlotte :D

    Evening everyone?

hope everyones ok? quiet on here tonight?

Jasmine uses a britax car seat, its an isofix but the non-isofix version of it is sold for under £100 i think! its this one - i got it alot cheaper than that though at the time, was on offer at boots and had a 10% code and got double points, if im honest i mainly chose it cos i liked the look of it:o i didnt read any reviews ect but i did check it fit my car! Jake has the one from the asda event now, the graco high back booster.

Krystal - my fairies still need to know where to go! i'll post incase i dont make the meet on the 19th,

The two mums I'm friends with at nursery are pregnant - I told them to stay away from me  Must be catching because another woman whos child is in that nursery is preggo aswell.

Susan, that seat looks really cool actually. So am I right in thinking that Alices back would be behind the seats in front, so the whole seat thing hangs off over where your feet are supposed to go?

I'm :rotfl: At Michael Finnegan, he grew whiskers on his chinnegan.....

Oh I forgot to tell a cute story from today, a friend came round with her 3 month old baby and we lay her on jasmines old play gym, jasmine was getting very giddy looking at the baby and i could tell she wanted to get to her, anyway put jasmine down and she rested her head on babys tum to give her a cuddle and kept going towards her face with an open mouth trying to give her a kiss!! soo cute, she still wont kiss me though!!! kisses all her dollies and teddies but not her poor mum lol!!

Yes, it's attached to the isofix points and has a leg like the carseat base on our Gp0 seat had but then it also has straps which attach to the "legs" of the seat in front and a bit of frame sticking out where Alice's feet go which stop it rotating backwards relative to the car (or forwards relative to Alice) in a crash. Gp0 seats don't need that because they rest against the seat already (instead of having a gap for leg room) and they have that handle sticking up.

ISOfix is good and all, but we only have it in one car, and it's the one that has !!!!!!y seats, so a pain in the !!!! to fit car seats into.

I should also point out that my car is very unsafe right now, bug pram and lots of crap in the boot that is unsecured, so in an accident they are all deadly missiles. Another thing to think of.
