after my discussion with MFD on how clean my floor was I dug the hoover out - 10mins later there was breadstick, rusks, Organix snacks crumbs everywhere, then BIL left a pint of water on the floor (like you do with a baby around!) and then BIL kicked off a bottle of beer!

    Don't think I'll bother again

Can I pick your brains? Last week at our BF picnic I was chatting to another Mum who has just text me to say her little one has come down with chicken pox. I didn't come into contact with her LO, just her and I have had chicken pox. However my worry is that I shared a room with a newly (secretly) pregnant friend on Saturday. Should I tell the pregnant friend of the distant chicken pox link? I feel like it would cause more worry than it is worth, but also feel a teeny bit guilty for not telling her :o. If I had had contact with the infected LO I definitely would tell her, but in this situation I'm not sure.

I probably wouldn't say anything if you think she is a worrier as the risk must be minute. If you have had chicken pox, can you still carry the virus by coming into contact with someone with it? If not, then I think I would only say something if she came into contact with someone with chicken pox directly.

    Good news for Mr MFD.

I am just back from the dentist and my lip is now blistered and blue and my mouth is numb. Back next week too, boo hoo.

ETA - just a flying visit. Off to leave my car at garage for MOT tomorrow and pick up baby from my mum's. x

Benjamin too Susan - he happily plays with the carpet sweeper and the dustpan and brush!! I keep thinking I might buy him toy versions but a toy sweeper wouldn't clean the carpets...the real one does :rotfl::rotfl:

I'm sure i've seen a toy hoover that actually picks up. :D

I was looking at the cleaning trolleys last week for V, with a little brush/mop etc. She loves cleaning but usually uses the toilet roll.

Reversing round corners or reversing into spaces? I would say both are easier than parallel parking!

We got one of those mini paddling pools in the 99p shop and Henry is currently enjoying his own mini ball pool. Shame the weather's not nice enough to fill it with water today. It's a very good buy though, glad I got one.

They are fab aren't they?! It's just crap when they learn to get in and out! Jack climbed into his on Sunday when the water had cooled down loads! Didn't seem to bother him but as he was already ill I took him out after a few minutes.
