GISI, if in doubt I'd probably tell her. Has the mummy of the sick LO had chicken pox?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

My baby is such a grumpy little moo when she wakes from her nap.
She doesn't want a cuddle, she just wants to lie face down on the floor screeching and kicking (and looking up to check i'm watching!):beer:0 -

And you never want to sneeze or cough until baby is asleep of course!!
Edit - 3 I have one like that too!! I am now making him leave his dummy in his bedroom in a morning (or after a nap) which mostly he does but sometimes, if he isn't awake 'enough' he refuses to leave it. This morning I put him back in his cot until he agreed to leave it behindplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
GISI - I would mention it. I picked J up from creche yesterday to be told one of the kids has chicken pox, great! The exclusion period is 5 days or until they've crusted (I think)A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

I am glad to hear some of you admitting to unclean floors, I have a constant low level of something like shame, guilt for my own laziness, and OH-resentment at the state of our floors. Our combined housework powers are significantly less than that of a skilled and willing 8 year old.

Because where's the fun in doing it of Mummy isn't watching
Isla's learnt to pull herself upto standing from sitting but hasn't quite got the sitting from lying down yet. It's really annoying her as she never seems to know how she wants to be. Lay her down and she wants to sit up, sit her up and she wants to stand, let her stand up and she thinks, mistakenly, that she can walk and falls down. Repeat x 10000!Belly Monkey arrived 19.11.09 :j0 -

You all need an Alice - she spends more time cleaning our floors than I do.Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

Susan I don't actually feel bad about my grubby floors at all - my floors are grubby because when Molly is awake she and I are on them making them grubby, and when she is asleep I am working, catching up on more important household stuff, or just lying still saying Phew, I'm tired, and I think those things are more important.

Benjamin too Susan - he happily plays with the carpet sweeper and the dustpan and brush!! I keep thinking I might buy him toy versions but a toy sweeper wouldn't clean the carpets...the real one does :rotfl::rotfl:
Boo - I swear that Benjamin learned to move around because I was [STRIKE]too lazy to be bothered[/STRIKE] trying to foster his independenceplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
MFD - you must feel so relieved (and probably a little shaky) after that!! So glad it was good news.
