You know my Mum?I have a friend who when I visit I make Alice keep her shoes on because once her socks ended up so bad I thought I would have to throw them out. I'm sure your floors can't be any worse than that.
Will you be telling Mr Mfd that a host of internet ladies have been cheering his man parts?My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Oh thank god, hubby has just been given the all clear on a lump he found in his man-regions. Please get all your menfolk to give themselves a check - he has been to the hospital for an ultrasound scan today and we have been worried sick...too worried even to post on here which is very unlike me.
I keep telling Dave to get checked out, he often gets pain in his groin bad enough to take his breath away... I've never encountered anything like it, is it normal?!
Sounds something like our house... It's not often visitor clean... I was talking about my garden to a friend the other day and she commented that she didn't remember ever seeing my garden... I said she's probably never seen further than the hall / living room... We've been friends for 6 years... :rolleyes:I am glad to hear some of you admitting to unclean floors, I have a constant low level of something like shame, guilt for my own laziness, and OH-resentment at the state of our floors. Our combined housework powers are significantly less than that of a skilled and willing 8 year old.
It's after the last pox has scabbed over which is anything up to 2 weeks after the first pox appears...GISI - I would mention it. I picked J up from creche yesterday to be told one of the kids has chicken pox, great! The exclusion period is 5 days or until they've crusted (I think)
Same for CaitlynMy_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Boo - I swear that Benjamin learned to move around because I was [STRIKE]too lazy to be bothered[/STRIKE] trying to foster his independence

The mini Dysons pick up... Not brilliantly though...I'm sure i've seen a toy hoover that actually picks up.
I was looking at the cleaning trolleys last week for V, with a little brush/mop etc. She loves cleaning but usually uses the toilet roll.
I suppose children learn by example... Caitlyn's shown no interest in cleaning...
I had a driving lesson today... I was pretty crap... But I didn't crash...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

lol i couldn't give a monkeys what my car looks like as long as it works

It depends on the size of the engine etc. For example the 02-08 Fiesta varies between group 2 and 14  so it's not necessarily the make http://www.parkers.co.uk/insurance/groups/by-model.aspx?model=2380 -
mfd .. i was thinking that i dont care if my first car is sky blue pink with yellow dots on .. as long has its cheap to run, gets me from a to b and is in good running order i'll have it

Glam, my mum is unemployed and my dad has been bankrupt so both their insurance is alot of money also.
You'd think being married would make a difference in my quotes, but noooo
They only ask if you've had any accidents or made any claims so I wouldn' have thought being unemployed would make a difference - doesn't make you more likely to crash
Try adding them as named drivers to your quote then, that should make it less.
MFD - Removed my bit about my illegal shennagins
Krsytal - well done for not crashing but  at the 2wk crusting period!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0 -
Just checking out childrens dysons and Amazon recommended this stick on blackout blind
May be of use to someone? Certainly cheaper than the grobag one I have...although it appears to be some white plastic and some sticky tape!!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise woman

Im very fussy haha.
I dont want to drive anyway, i hate cars, i get bad travel sickness and i have never wanted a car.
Always wanted a motorbike
But im due to get all my holiday pay for this year when i finish ML in Sept, which is roughly about £900 so DH said to use it for driving lessons because i need a car if i want to be a midwife
So if im doing something i dont really want to do, im going to make it as pleasurable as possible
Glam, i thought that they would check background history?
They wouldn't let me anyway, my dad wouldn't even be a guarentor for my house a few years ago when i could of possibly been homeless.
Edit. He's not on the insurance Glam. Just me
He's doesn't even have a driving licence

It was over 5 years ago, if it's illegal then EA don't do it.
*slaps wrists*
So those of you that know me in RL, who's gonna shop me first?A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
