Oh dear, Susan you do realise you have to wipe your feet on the way out? *sticks to floor*
I have a friend who when I visit I make Alice keep her shoes on because once her socks ended up so bad I thought I would have to throw them out. I'm sure your floors can't be any worse than that.

3 was it with ryanair for the flights? I was going to fly to my mums with them and it was £6 for me and £40 for Isla to sit on my knee!

It looks fantastic where you're going :j

It was Ryanair Boogelly, I just didn't understand it! If we wait til next summer when she's two, it'll be £39.01 cheaper, and V will get her own seat!

All this holiday talk is making me feel quite jealous... we're meant to be saving for a deposit so we can buy a house, but hopefully we can find a cheap holiday for the October half-term - I NEED A HOLIDAY <stamps foot>!!!!

Please get all your menfolk to give themselves a check - he has been to the hospital for an ultrasound scan today and we have been worried sick...too worried even to post on here which is very unlike me.

VAT increases set to add £33 to the average family supermarket bill...

    PER YEAR!!!!!!

Oh my lord, has the world gone mad?

    That is 63.5p a week.

I am not saying I agree or otherwise with the VAT increase but the reporting of it is scandalous!

    Although this made me laugh:
'For instance, a gingerbread man decorated with two chocolate eyes is exempt from VAT, but if it contains any more chocolate, standard-rated VAT is charged.'
Make sure your gingerbread men only have 2 eyes folks ;)

Damn, that's one less bottle of wine for every 9 I buy. :(

What if the gingerbread man has buttons?

:T For Mr MFD's man bits!
I always nag OH to check his, but he tells me I should check for him. :o

Sorry EA but the solution to this problem is not to make it quieter for Lily, it is to make it noisier so she gets used to it. If you constantly tiptoe around her whilst she sleeps then she gets used to the quiet, if she is used to a noiser environment it will be easier all round....especially if you are looking to have another.

Background noise is good because it means that sudden noises don't wake them.

    My opinion only.

Thats what we always have done, but now the slightest noise wakes her and she's not sleeping :(

She had a nap though when we went round to let ILs dogs out so she's happy now :D

Got my Emmas Diary mum pack thing today. The free fruit sweet things were yummy but i didn't get my free diet coke as advertised on the pic :( :rotfl:
