oh and EA - try knocking OH off the insurance as lads under 25 tend to bump the price up.

I would rather have an ugly car than no car :D

    Im very fussy haha.

I dont want to drive anyway, i hate cars, i get bad travel sickness and i have never wanted a car.

    Always wanted a motorbike :)

But im due to get all my holiday pay for this year when i finish ML in Sept, which is roughly about £900 so DH said to use it for driving lessons because i need a car if i want to be a midwife :(

So if im doing something i dont really want to do, im going to make it as pleasurable as possible :D

Glam, i thought that they would check background history? :o
They wouldn't let me anyway, my dad wouldn't even be a guarentor for my house a few years ago when i could of possibly been homeless.

Edit. He's not on the insurance Glam. Just me :) He's doesn't even have a driving licence :(

I wouldn't be admitting to that on a public forum Glam....there was a big kick off about it on the news the other week

It was over 5 years ago, if it's illegal then EA don't do it.

    *slaps wrists*
So those of you that know me in RL, who's gonna shop me first?

I hate and detest being a passenger, and i get travel sick being one, but do not get sick when actually driving. I think it may be that the actual driving takes your mind off it as you are concentrating.

EA they don't credit check, i'm well in debt and have all kinds of defaults but they let me pay monthly.

I would try putting your mam on as a named driver, my quote one year was less cos i put my older ex OH on it.

    Illegal advice removed :o

I too suffer from horrendous travel sickness which is why I insist on driving everywhere as I'm fine when I drive! I tend tojust say it's cos everyone else is a crap driver though!

EA, have you tried looking for quotes as if you'd done Pass Plus too? I think that cost me £100 and reduced my car insurance by more than £200 (in 2005, mind!). My first insurance, just me, on a 2003 Fiesta was £750ish after the PP reduction :) Norwich Union used to do a 9mth policy which gave you a year's NCD (assuming no claims!) to help you build your NCD up quicker. That's what I had but not sure they do it anymore

Removed my rather Illegal advice! Oops!
Thanks to MFD who was rightly voted Minister of Transport when we went through the Elections

Aah, between me reading and replying you've changed your post! I keep telling OH this is highly illegal but if you do it where your parent is a named driver it isn't and can still bring your price down.

OH wants a classic vw beetle, some companies won't touch him because he's 'too old' to drive a classic car  And some won't because he's too young for a classic policy :mad: I officially hate car insurance!

In better news my pram brakes now work
