    Morning everyone!

Well yesterday was a very expensive day in the muso household. Holly decided to projectile vomit her milk the full length of the sofa saturating the laptop! Of course the laptop is now completely kaput! Have to use the annoying old whirring desktop until the new laptop arrives later today and DH can set it up. All I can say is thank god for overnight shipping! I was having a meltdown without it yesterday. Any tips on controlling reflux would be great!

On a happier note we had a pretty good night. Took DH a while to get H to sleep last night. Then she woke for feed at 2.30am and slept right through til 7.30! Thats the first time we've not had to get up at least twice in the night:j She's now having a little nap in her big girl cot!

Well done Beenie on sorting the Brats mother out:j

Are you covered for accidental damage Muso?

Wow 3, his banging must be quite hard to break the microwave! Will he have a problem now that the microwave isn't there to bang or will it move to something else?

Keely, he probably just likes the sound he makes... If he's not distressed then I would just ignore the sound... If people stare then just smile, shrug and say "He's a typical man, loves the sound of his own voice..."

Some one actually asked me yesterday 'why is he screaming?' I simply replied because he wants to?! lol..... he does love his own voice :)

    2 things...

    1) Gym, we have the Antilop. He is a little too small for it in that he slumps to one side or the other, but you can either buy the air cushion that IKEA sell or use the 'free' version of a bunch of plastic bags wadded up and strategically placed around him! :rotfl: if we had a Bumbo, though, I'd use that, but we don't have anything else chair-like.

    2) OMG, I just got a phone call that I've won a trip to the Outer Hebrides!!! The details have disappeared off the website so I don't know anything else, but omgomgomg - I comped all of 2007 & 2008 and never won a holiday and now 1 month back at it and I wonnnnnnnnnnn. :j:j:j
top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

would like to win a holiday, please!!

He doesnt have any blankets atm, just a sheet. he's still at the age where he needs to feel secure and snug so putting the sheet on tightly when he fist goes down seems to calm him. Plus I cant sleep without any covers so i dont like to leave him without lol

I used Olibas Oil on a tissue under my pillow when Jack was in our room :silenced:

Well Done Holly and David for being good! My sister is moaning about the new Active Fit nappies (the Sesame Street ones) leaking after 2 hours but I find them OK during the day and we use Baby Dry at night. We have had a few leaky ones but I suspect its where J is a wriggle bum and I've not put it on tight enough :o

Someone else was saying about them leaking and then blaming the new design but so far no probs with us. Know what you mean about the wriggly bums!!

Henry had a wee on the toilet last night :j 2nd one in about a month so lots of praise here and a special pudding of pineapple chunks and ice cream!!! :D

Keep vomitting child at least 10ft from laptop at all times... Or have laptop higher up!

Leather sofas are a Godsend.. I love mine!

Bin carpets or they just stink and try not to let her develop an association between eating/vomitting and pain... Mine was having baby slop at 3 because he couldn't swallow food as this association kicked in his gag reflux making him sick more!

    I hate sick!

Krystal- I need to check insurance policy. Not sure that we have acc damage. Thankfully it was only one of those cheapy netbooks. We've had 2 years solid use out of it, so not too horrific.

Baby will certainly be kept a very good distance from the new one! Our floors are all laminated so don't have to worry about that and we've covered the sofa with fleece blankets. They're getting washed quite frequently at the moment.

Trouble is she keeps asking for food, we check all the other options, give her the formula and then half an hour later she'll bring it right back up again, so I have absolutely no idea how much she's actually drinking.

She was really cute last night though. She kept going to the living room door, poking her head out into the hall, shouting a load of babble then coming back in an closing the door. Repeat for half an hour! :rotfl:I'd love to know what she thought she was shouting, and who she was shouting at.

Bless her - was she copying her mother by any chance ;)

Benjamin was very well behaved for daddy last night, waking at 5am but going back to sleep with a little cuddle. Then at 7.30am he shouted to be got up and when hubby went in Benjamin was laying on his back with his hands behind his head as if to say 'I have been waiting for you for ages' :rotfl:

Mum and dad have come over to look after him today - I hope they are having lots of fun! I am sure they are fine but I worry because he only sees them about once a month.
