Krystal, I am absolutely no expert at all so I can only suggest things I've read like offering water instead or just refusing to give the booby but still being comforting, etc. :o
Yeah that's how I dropped the night feeds but the early morning one just seems impossible unless I want to start my day somewhere between 4am and 5:30am... She woke at 3:30 the other morning and I didn't feed her but she was swinging between tantrums and just unsettled until 5 when she just suddenly decided to lie in the cot calmly and go to sleep  She goes to bed with a cup of water and that's the first thing I offer her...

Does she have a dummy? :)
No... Not through lack of trying on my part!!

Gill, there isn't a lot they can do for a blocked nose... You can try saline squirted up there (it melts the blockage and it all runs out... Not pretty!!) Or something like baby vicks rubbed on a bit of cloth nearby... But you can't use it on their body until they're 3 months I think?
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

My name is 1912 in USA. Norberto and Aparna being the names just above lol. One in 15,605 americans are named this, only 64.08 per million. Increasing by 168 every year.

THOMAS is the most popular 9.th name in USA (... 7.joseph , 8.richard , 9.thomas , 10.paul , 11.edward ...). One in every 51 Americans are named as THOMAS and popularity of name THOMAS is 19.63 people per thousand.
If we compare the popularity statistics of THOMAS to USA's population statistics, we can estimate that as of June.18.2010 04:04 there are 6,076,780 people named as THOMAS in the United States and the number of THOMAS's are increasing by 51,587 people every year.

Krystal - but maybe she just needs a day or two of tantrums to learn that she won't get fed that early. I don't have much room to talk, since we're going through something similar (waking up at 5-5:30 instead of 6-6:30) but as Caitlyn's much older maybe she would get the idea. Not sure, of course! I'm sure someone with older babba will be along shortly :D:D.

    hehehe :p

Gill - I've not bothered with any blankets last few days, just a vest and sleepsuit cos he gets to hot. And Jack has been really bunged up for the last 4 weeks :( I've not taken him docs though :o.
You can get saline drops from the chemist and then perhaps put something like Olbas Oil on a Muslin in the room at night. I used to tie the muslin to the handle of his wardrobe which is close to his cot.

Gym - I started Jack in his highchair at 18 weeks cos thats when I weaned him. I didn't have the Antilop but I wish I did as it's much better than the chicco one I got from asda.

Morning all. Ok night here too.

I'm disappointed the weather looks crap here today. Meeting Millie's Mum in the park in an hour, hope we don't get rained on.

Have a good day all :)

I would thank you krystal but I can't find the thanks button!!!!!!

Think I'll pop out for some baby vicks - should help my blocked hayfever nose too lol. My pillow is normally permanenyly covered in olbas oil in summer but his basket is up against the bed so I cant use it until he goes into his cot

ETA oooh Glam- is olbas oil ok for them? He doesnt have any blankets atm, just a sheet. he's still at the age where he needs to feel secure and snug so putting the sheet on tightly when he fist goes down seems to calm him. Plus I cant sleep without any covers so i dont like to leave him without lol

    :DBeams. Yes, yes, yes!
Decided to dreamfeed him at 9.30pm, 7oz drank. He woke at 3.10am, drank another 6oz, was back in bed by 3.25am. He woke at 6.15am, I ignored him. He must have nodded off again. When i went in at 7.30 he was awake and smiley and saying hiya to me. :) He is in mummys very good books today.

:T Yay for Alex, dare I hope he had another good night?

I'm glad your night wasn't too bad Aless. We had a good night (for us!), D went down at 6.30, had a feed at 11.40, another at 3.30 then was up at 6 :T

    Morning all,

My name is very popular in the US, although it's also a boys name there which it isn't really here!

Well done Jack - very pleased you had a good night Glam. If only the other babies would follow suit! We had a good night too - second night in a row she has pretty much slept through, 8.30pm - 7.30am!

However, daddy put her to bed, and when I went to get her this morning her nappy was leaking so have had to bath her and strip her bed already this morning. We have never had a leaky wet nappy at night before (and only twice during the day).
