One of those arrested is a pregnant woman with a six month old. If a group of terrorists were trying to deflect attention, I think it it is quite feasible that they would use a mother and child.

Arrested, but not found quilty (at least not yet).

I think thats quite possible, although i wouldnt have had that opinion before i took a coach from b'ham to gatwick.

There was a muslim woman and a black english muslim man sitting behind me and i overheard there conversation and they were full of derision for the UK and the US and confident that they are the ones who will go to 'heaven' or whatever they call it and we are all kidding ourselves if we think were going too!

Having read with interest evrybodys views on this I thought I would add my own opinion. I speak as someone who is booked to fly to the USA in the near future and therefore could have been at risk of being blown up by these creatures.
I am sick and tired of the lives of peaceful intrinsically British people being disrupted by creatures such as these. It was bad enough when the threat came from outside the country but now it is "alledgedly" Uk citizens of foreign descent who pose a threat. These people have seen fit to live here, take the benefit of living here but now we are the enemy??? Now it is OK to blow us up??? I was left feeling awful about myself when I heard the news as my first reaction was to think "Now which Muslim/Arab?middle Eastern names will be read out for this one?" I felt terrible for thinking such a thing, but surprise surprise!! I am all for passenger screening (and as the other poster said, if they were looking for white females in their 20's I would be for it aswell because I have nothing to hide, I am not evil.
I realise I will probably be shot down in flames for not being politically correct about this but its how I feel and in my opinion it is in part this countrys politically correct stance on so many things which has made these creatures come here in the first place to preach evil and plan their attacks.

At last someone finally tells it as it is instead of doing the usual bum kissing that people always seem to do.

We hear from most that it is the Govt's fault and that they are just trying to scare us blah blah blah. What a pile of c$$p. It is scum who can live here and breed here, take our benifits and then decide that not happy with all that they want to blow us up as well because they feel that way inclined.

I fly out to Orlando in a week and all i care about is that my family have a safe flight. Now i have to worry about some scum bag who beleives that they have the right to take lives away. Disgusting creatures.

I wouldnt under estimate what a "terrorist" would do, they are murders and thats how they should be treated, they obviously have something seriously wrong with them.
I live right round the corner from most of the people who have been arrested its absoultly terrible

This witch hunt is reminding me of the ant-Irish feeling we had in the 70's and 80's. Then anyone with a vaguely Irish name were getting threatening phone calls from idiots. I know because it happened to a the wife of a friend of mine. It really freaked her out.

This was one of the points I was trying to make, it is WRONG. We seem to have become impotent as a nation in respect to having rights of our own compared to the "our way or you die" minority. I hate it, I welcome anyone to this country who is at risk where they are or is a genuine refugee etc and would hope that we give them the same help that we would appreciate should the tables have turned but unfortunately I find myself questioning my whole belief's and values regarding this, simply because it has "alledgedly" ended up being decendants of these immigrants (of one sort or another) who plot to do these things!!
