The extra security wont stop me from travelling. I have a Long haul flight booked in September, if i can't take any books, magazines until im through departures then no bother i will just buy one.

Yes more expensive but wouldn't you all rather be safe, you can't buy anything if your dead can you

As always the minority spoils everything for the majority.

Have to agree with some previous posts though, if they don't like our Country and the way the Western World live, why the hell are they living here:mad:

I hate how these extremists believe that they can go and blow people up becuase they don't agree with the Western way of life but are happy enough to live in the UK! I was really looking forward to this trip but don't even want to go now. My aunty and family were flying to LA last Thursday and it just makes me feel so sick and angry when I think of what could have happened.

The point they are making is that we must not generalize and blame all Muslims for this. The terrorist are only a tiny minority and we must not pass on this hate to everyone of that faith. As I pointed out above I can remember back to the 70's when, after some horrible IRA bombs anyone with an Irish name were getting hate phone calls. Do we want a repeat of that ? It's as bad as what happened back in WW1 when any shopkeeper with a German sounding name had their windows smashed in, and even dachshunds were stoned for being "German"

Sorry i'm going to have to disagree, they will put our security first over money because if our country doesnt have these securities in place, no one will visit our country and then the businesses wont have any business.
If terroisim continues to iincrease within the UK it will seriously effect our economy.
