Well done to everyone who cut back or didn't eat chocolate yesterday :T

Very proud of myself no chocolate yesterday (apart from a cup of hot chocolate). Going to try very hard not to have any today as well. I have a couple of bars of chocolate with Daim bits in it that I really really want to eat. I don't want to throw it out because I bought it for my sister to try when she next stops by but would normally have no problem with eating it then buying her some more.

Vikki -- might be something of an odd suggestion but have you tried something like a student cookbook. The ones I've seen go from simple meals (omlettes etc) through to more involved things (roast dinners) and only seemed to use 'normal' ingredients not "take 1 ostrich egg and saute lightly" rubbish.

saverholic, great suggestion! Those student cookbooks are fab, and always use simple utensils as well as ingredients.

No chocolate for me today, I am going to attempt to go an entire day without it now (even a tiny bit). Good luck to us all!!!

Well done! I'm still good so far but there is nothing edible within easy reach other than the rather horrid Marie Curie fundrasing cakes.

Would you ever get desperate enough to eat a cupcake with a use by date in 6 months time?!!

I am drawing a discreet veil over some activities over the last little while although i will say that I did not buy chocolate on any occasion :) I was very nearly mugged by a 2 fingered kitkat today but surely such a small thing has no power over me!

    Well done everyone!

Chocolate is one of my vices, the others being cheese, marmite, mayonaise and very ocasionally JD (once every 3 months lol)

I have gone from eating 1-3 big bars of chocolate a night to eating 1 small bar every other day :D very proud of my progress. Admittedly its not all will power etc. I have started taking 5htp to curb the cravings. Every little hellps.
    DS1 arrived 22/02/11! 8lb3oz

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Darn it! Thought I'd got away with that one! There's only a tiny bit of chocolate on them though! Mostly toffee! :D. I'm going with the fairy dust theory though :D Clearly it created a 'no chocolate' illusion!
