I am doing a WW free trial atm, but rarely track points... it's very difficult to track points with dinners, especially when OH is cooking. :)

    Morning all!!!

I have a bit of a hangover and am craving chocolate so badly! Will have to try to ease it with other things... hmm, not sure that strawberries and Greek yogurt are quite what my poor body wants right now lol.

well I've managed not to have any choc so far today however....

..I've eaten so many sweets to detract myself from wanting chocolate that my blood sugar is probably through the roof . I've now put the sweets away and told myself I can't have anymore

Another one of my problems is when I get hungry I don't want to eat a meal because I think its being really piggy. Instead I end up grazing on junk food that is undoubtedly worse for me. I'm going to make a real attempt tonight to have a proper evening meal that will last me all night without feeling the need to snack.

How were the strawberries and greek yoghurt Tara?

saverholic, that is what I have been doing!! I've been eating so much chocolatey junk that I am not even hungry enough for dinner, it's so bad. But OH and I take it in turns to cook most evenings, so it's not as if I can skip dinner. And I have been too ashamed to tell him how much chocolate I have been eating during the day. We need to swing the balance around the other way and eat meals rather than junk.

p.s. I skipped the yogurt but the strawbs were lovely. I also popped into M&S and spent almost £10 on toms (sundried and fresh), peppers, spinach and fresh peas!!! Yikes!!! I am making a fab lunch for tomorrow - smoked salmon with couscous, peas, dried apricots, roasted peppers and mint. Yummers!!!!

Still no chocolate today (this is unheard of for me on hangover day), although I might have one of my posh chocs later. I have scrambled eggs and toast for (late) breakfast, and OH is cooking the most amazing lasagne for dinner.

    Be strong ladies!!!

OMG, so proud of myself - I also have a hangover and was offered a bar of chocolate at my son's football match this morning and declined :j. Even more amazingly, have just said no to an M and S melt in the middle chocolate pudding - hope they hurry up and eat it before my resolve weakens! Thanks for the inspiration everyone. BTW, went out last night and didn't choose a choc dessert - did have the Baileys cheesecake (with copious amounts of wine), so not exactly low calorie, but at least was choc-free xx

p.s. I like that you can now see how many times you've thanked others as well as being thanked yourself! Not sure why they've done that but anyway. I am actually surprised that my 'thanking others' count is lower than my thanks count, I must be slacking with the thanks button!!! :rotfl:

wow, your lunch for tomorrow sounds delicious tara!

:T well done buyitall on resisting (the bailey's cheesecake sounds lovely and at least it isn't the dreaded chocolate)

Just had tea and it seems to have reduced my cravings. Definately think having better 'proper' meals is the way to go for me.
