I've tried dark chocolate and it just doesn't "do" anything for me :o
As much as I am ashamed to admit it I love milk chocolate. Especially Wispa bars.
Like others I seem to be an all or nothing type and I am coming to conclusion that going down the "nothing" route is the only way to go. My only saving grace lately is I have bought Sainsbury's Basics Milk Chocolate which I do quite like but not to the greedy degree as say Galaxy or Cadbury's so it's been lasting a little longer than normal. Plus I don't really get out much during the day so am saved the temptation of shop.

Still need to lose some weight and sweet stuff is my downfall. I am cheering you all on from the sidelines whilst I try and get my own butt into gear :o

Thanks Bitsy Beans, hope you are inspired to join in! I know how hard it is and I think it's going to have to be all or nothing for me too. I too love milk chocolate but I know that I will love getting slim more!!!!!

Bronnie, I can happily report no chocolate in the vicinity of my office, I have got rid of it all (colleagues took my half-packet of Toffypops). So I am all ready to go!!!! I feel as if a weight has lifted, I have no temptation around me for the first time in ages. I've cycled to work in the sunshine, I've had my boiled egg (organic, yum, I usually buy free range but you can really taste the difference!) and a couple of nuts and prunes, will have my Greek yogurt in a bit.

So... today is the first day of my new self!!! :):):)

    :T Yay - well done!

I have been less good - I managed to say no to the chocolate eclairs and the double chocolate gateau but somehow found myself consuming a cream doughnut <sigh>, At least it wasn't chocolate.

Hmm today my mum offered me a kit kat as we was walking around the shops and I said no thank you. But then I went to TESCO and bought some Weight Watchers Elairs and ate 4! They had choc on top with ice cream in the middle. I should have had will power and not ate them. I only bought them to try them out and use up the two money off coupons I had. Lesson learnt!

Hi all, although I am too scared to say that I'm officially not eating chocolate, I have managed to go for 2 days without any now (that's if you don't count the 'taster' spoonful I had of my son's rolo dessert). Working on the principle that it's the weekend and I'd rather have wine as my treat than choc, I'm confident of making it to tomorrow night choc-free. Then I'm out for a posh meal and I might not be able to resist a pudding with chocolate in it. Well done to everyone so far xx

:rotfl: That's like something I would do Vikki.

It's amazingly simple how, if you don't have any chocolate nearby, you can't have any!!! I can't believe it's taken me this long to realise it. I buy choc and biscuits 'just to have' in my drawer, and kid myself that I'll only have the occasional one, but it never works out like that!!! I have been fooling myself.

That's it buyitall, take it just one day at a time and it's less scary! I'm still going to eat my three remaining posh chocs in my little box, don't know when but I will. They're like my little chocolate safety blanket, when they're gone it'll be (gulp) no more buying chocolate and that's when the fun will start!!! But I am determined.

Ladies, today I got an email from Milka (some others of you may have availed yourself of their free bar of choccie recently).

Can I suggest if this message appears in your inbox, you DON'T OPEN IT. It may contain a nasty virus which will corrupt you and you are strongly advised to DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY without opening it!
