Today whilst out walking I noticed about 20 big bulbs of bluebells thrown away in the re-cycling bin! They are now planted in my back garden and well watered. they are a tad wilted but fingers crossed, they might revive.
Yesterday a neighbour gave me several plants from her garden as she was splitting clumps of perenials.

My neighbours are having a clear out prior to moving. I made a gate from a spare bit of picket fencing that was going to the tip otherwise. Just need some hinges and and latch now.

I made my own tomato food, no chemicals from the shops for me :)

  • Rather than using potting compost in my newly built rockery, I dug some soil from an area that will be getting paved soon, and used that.

Not very exciting, but I've had a lazy day!

Just used the last of the yogurt pots tonight to plant the gazanias that arrived on Saturday - I feel guilty for leaving it so long but had the greehouse to build etc etc - there isn't enough hours in the day sometimes.
