Dell system for £185 incl. VAT

Well I missed calls on my mobile from 'number withheld' on 3 consecutive days last week so, figuring it was probably Dell, I phoned them on Friday. They managed to track my order and said it was the courier who had been phoning to arrange delivery!!
Looks like they haven't offered all of us 'upgrades' then but i am just chuffed that it is coming off, delivery expected on Wednesday..

Well I got the email (the re-called one) and that's it.

Since then, nothing.

Looks like I may have missed out on this one.

Dell don't appear to be dealing with these order with any degree of consistency .

Some customers are receiving phone calls; some offering half price upgrades, some not.

Other customers are getting emailed order confirmations, others not.

Yet other customers are getting neither a phone call from Dell nor an order confirmation, but are just being contacted by the courier to arrange delivery .

Suppose it's all down to the individual employee who's been allocated to your order.

Although you'd think they would all be trained to "sing from the same hymn-sheet" !

I've received my email confirming my new Dell (so excited) and have just purchased some memory from crucial. I've had to buy pairs, which means I now have the original 256mb of Dell ram for sale.

I'm happy to sell this for £21 including 1st class postage. Will try my best to ship in the Crucial packaging. Not sure of my delivery date, but happy to send within 24 hours of receiving my new RAM, Dell PC and funds being cleared. Also happy to take Cheque, Paypal or Bank Transfer.

I must of phoned them about 4 times now, get put throught to this person who tranfers me to another person & so on, then get told they will call me back, waiting for my 3rd call from them, so much for the e-mail saying i will get my pc.
