I'm still not sure we have been transferred to O2.

Despite getting the email from O2 on Tuesday no calls are yet showing in the online account.

Also, dialling 100 still gets through to the BT Operator Menu?!

Can anyone else with O2 Home Phone report what they get when they dial 100?

Check the billing portal to see if your calls are being billed by O2.

Yes - the calls are now appearing as of 2nd June. It was clearly just the 48 hour delay they warn about.

BT also stopped recording calls on my online account at the end of the day on the 1st June (which was may advised cut-over day).

However, BT have so far failed to close my old account (despite what they said in their letter about this being done within 3 working days).

I'm now wondering if they are going to wait until the next billing period, and try to scam me for another quarters line rental in the hope I'll just pay.....

Am I now being a bit too cynical about BT?!

They'll produce your final bill 7-10 working days after switchover- at least thats what happened to me as well as a friend

Hmmm - 7-10 working days after switchover would be after my next quarterly bill date which is due on 9th.

Will they try and charge me in advance for another quarter I wonder?

I have had a call from O2 as I have registered interest and they will call me back before my BT contract expires on 30th June.
Will be renewing my o2 BB at the same time - wonder if I will get 3 months free?
Also wonder if anyone has haggled with O2 using primus as a comparison as going through homephone choices it is £8.99 per month for evening and weekend including voicemail service (a necessity for me) and caller display is an extra 56 pence so in total it is £9.55 in total.
However, O2 is £9.50 evening and weekends, but is £1.75 for caller display and an extra £1.00 for voicemail totalling £12.25, which is slightly more than what I pay for exactly the same services from BT, so therefore there seems to be little incentive for me to choose O2 over Primus - my only incetive is to get away from the rubbish that is BT.

    DEAR FRIENDS

I wanted to move my Bt line to O2. I have already had broadband with them for a couple of years, no problems whatsoever with service or payment. I also had a PAYG mobile account with them. When i applied on the phone to join they wanted a credit card account to run a credit check. I have valid credit /debit cards registered to my home address working with no problems. Despite this the o2 operative rejected both these cards saying that the address did not match the O2 address on my account! This is the first time i have failed a credit check ever in 25 years of money dealing. And that will go on my credit record as a check. it seems there was a slight mismatch on the phrasing of the address, not normally a problem with other companies

    AVOID!
