Thank you to whoever recommended me the "CoCo Pops Coco Rocks" cereal bars. Sorry can't remember who it was that said that they hit the spot where chocolate cravings are concerned! :DThey definitely do that!:j Altho I noticed when looking at the SW website you have to make sure it is the 20g bar you have for 4 syns as the 28g bar is a little higher at 6 syns - still worth it as they are super yummy!:D

Hi all! Just a flying visit :)

Today is green! (i'm having a lot of these recently!)

B- 28g fruit and fibre and 1 scan bran (heb) (had milk from hea) I have to say that scan bran are disgusting! I even covered it in my lemon curd quark (1) and it was just... wrong!

S - Had 2 morning coffee biscuits with a cup of tea to get rid of the scan bran taste (2)

L - Cheese and brocolli pasta n sauce (0.5), 3 pagen krisprolls (heb2) with 3 mini babybell light (hea2), Melon and strawberry fruit salad and Fat free activia yog

D - I was going to have Quorn Escalopes (lemon and black pepper ones) until i realised they were 7 syns!!! I was going to have them with SW chips and salad and poss some chilli sauce (1.5 syns per tbsp) If i dont have those it will be the lamb grills i bought instead! lol

OOh i am pleased to announce a 2lb loss this week! Woohoo!
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

    thanks Whoopidoo

When mentioned this idea at weigh to my leader he didn't seem very impressed and said he thought ee was the best plan but i think id feel the same as you, like i was starting a whole new plan and really sticking to it. ive done ee for the whole 2 1/2 months so i think i might have a change this week and have a green week, thanks x

Thats a shame your consultant wasn't more encouraging, mine is the same as I think she is unfortunately in the mindset of "EE is so great so why bother with the other 2 plans" The thing is you won't know if green days will kickstart your weight loss again unless you try them. You may do them and love them, or they may make you realise you like EE so much more. But either way hopefully you'll feel a bit more motivated to continue with your journey. Good luck x

    little bump pls :)

@ lynz thx but i thought the sins in the full fat mayo and oil would be ok ? i reckoned on about ten for the amount of mayo and horseradish i had ? :)

another question sorry - are all weetabix the same i just had 2 value ones ?

daisy you can use your syns on whatever you like, so if you prefer to have full fat versions of things rather than 'treats' then as long as you are within your syn allowance for the day go for it. You have to make the plan work for you in order to stick with it imo. It says in the book you can swap branded cereals for supermarket versions (or something along those lines as I haven't got it to hand atm) so it should be ok. Re the white sauce for lasagne, I just use cottage cheese. Sometimes my OH will add an egg into it, and we always season it heavily with black pepper. Blend it all together for a few moments till you get the consistency of a sauce and voila. I use this to layer the lasagne and then use a HEA portion of mozzarella to cover the top along with some sprinkled oregano. Yum:D

That was me (choccy addict):D Didn't realise there was different sizes though:eek:Just checked the ones I have and they are 20g thankfully, they're the boxed multipack ones from Tesco.

No real food diary here today as its WI tonight so I tend to go with the flow a bit more. I had 1 weetabix (1/2 HEB) with skimmed milk (HEA) and blueberries for breakfast, and will have some leftover quorn lasagne for a late lunch later.

vixie well done on you weight loss:T I agree that scan bran is an acquired taste, I haven't even went near them this time round.

Forgot to share with you all my new favourite snack. I bought a box of ryvita fruit crunch ( 2=HEB) and thought they were just ok so probably wouldn't buy again. But, OH gave me one yesterday with a diarylea light triangle (4=HEA) spread on it and omg it was so yummy. Now that i'm writing it down it seems a bit sad to have been excited by something like this but it really made my day at the time:o:rotfl:

Thanks Claire from a fellow choccy addict!!!

I ordered them from Tesco on-line; was so relieved they were the 20g bars when they arrived! Eating them reminded me of when I used to live on Coco Pops for breakfast as a child - checked out how many syns 28g Coco Pops were - 5.5 syns but I bet you don't get a lot for 28g!! Think I'll stick with the Coco Rocks cereal bars. They're so yummy!:)

Best of luck for WI. I get weighed in on a Thursday evening and spend the entire day getting myself in a state about WI; so I know exactly how you feel.

Are the Tesco onion rings in a multipack?? I love onion rings!
