Have you got a link to the red days menu? I can't find it on the site. Thanks!0 -

Hi RL, its under sample menus but only available when you are logged into the site for some reason. I don't want to link to it while signed in as then everyone could access my profile etc. Sorry:o:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
Im not 100% on this but the way I read EE is that the point of having 1/3rd of a plate superfree is so you are still eating loads but less of the carb/protein main meal. Even if it is stuffed with veg you would still eat a full plate of shephards pie, so even with the veg in it you should leave 1/3rd of the plate empty. Or fill it with more veg or salad.
Im not sure if that makes any sense but thats the way I follow EE. It helps you to eat a more balanced plate full with veg/salad on the plate taking up space and filling you up rather than a mountain of shephards pie/veg chilli etc.
Red/green is different as your not combining the carbs/protein so you can get away with eating more, but I still try and leave 1/3rd suprerfree so im eating less of the pasta and getting into the habit of having a balanced plate.
It's a really good habit to get into Nic, but it's not actually necessary if you have enough veg within the recipe. However, I'm sure your weight losses will be excellent if you continue the way you feel is right and, after all, you can't have too many veg for your health.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
Find it hard to follow the SW plan today. I'm absolutely skint until Tuesday and are missing loads of ingredients to make anything proper to eat. On top of it all hubby and a bunch of his mates are doing pest control on a farm somewhere in North west Wales this weekend, trying to be self sufficient he took most of my spices and other stuff like soy sauce and lemon juice with him.
He text me earlier " Cooked dandelion cakes today yum, yum and I got a rabbit last night that we cooked over the open fire"
Great... I ended up frying an onion that I mixed with cous-cous sweetcorn and peas for lunch...and having omelet with onions and peas tonight0 -

oooh i would also LOVE to share with you guys my free (yes free) Pilau rice recipe. I found it tasted JUST like the Indian Takeaway!
Ingredients - Basmati rice, 1 star anise, tumeric, bit of a cinnamon stick, 3 cardamom pods, 2 x bay leaves, chicken stock cube and water.
Spray a pan with fry light and add the spices and the dried rice. Stir until all the rice turns yellow. Make up double stock to the amount of rice and pour into the pan. Stir until the water has been soaked up (the rice will not be cooked at this point) Put the lid on the pan, take off the heat and leave to steam for 20/30 minutes depending on the amount of rice.
After the time, take a fork and fluff up, have a taste to make sure the rice is cookedIf not, add a bit more boiling water, stir and leave to steam for another 5-10 minutes
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

I am ever so slightly peed off, just went onto SW website and tried to log in. It said my account had been closed as I hadn't been logged on for 6 weeks, what are they talking about??? I was on yesterday to fill in my progress and I go on most days to check syn values. I can't register again either as I don't have a correct password [was getting on through a clitch in the programme].
Oh welll I'm sure you lovely people wouldn't mind checking syns for me [I hope].
Food today
B - weetabix [bs] milk [a] coffee
L - b/egg salad, toms,cue,s/onions,p/onions, new potatoes, beans, hm mayo [7 syns], babybel [a]
T - not sure yet, something free from green or more salad.
Snacks - muller, pineapple, malted milk bikkie [2syns] been trying to eat a few extra syns to make up for a low syn week so had crisps [6.5 syns],
