oh can you post the recipe doe the onion bhajis please ?

    Certainly. :)

    Free on green/ee

3 onions (either red or white - i used both) finely sliced
    3 potatoes cooked and mashed
    1 400g can of chickpeas
2 heaped tbsp of curry powder
1 tsp of chilli powder (optional)

Spray a pan with frylight. Add the onions and curry powder and fry until soft.
Drain and rince the can of chickpeas and blitz in a food processor.
Add the onions to the chickpeas and add the mash potato (and chilli powder if using). Mix well

Shape the mix into patties (or balls - whatever you prefer) Mine were the size of the palm of my hand and about 2 cm thick.

Spray a baking tray with frylight, put the patties on the tray and spray with frylight. Put into the oven gas mark 7 and cook for 30 minutes or until crispy to the touch. (you might have to flip them over halfway through)

Serve with your curry or raita dip :)
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

    new beginnings...... new successes..

I made some VERY yummy brownies and some cupcakes today - they are sooooo NOT SW friendly! Luckily I got carried away when walking to the shop and ended up going about 4 times further than I needed to and was out for an hour and a half (and I walk pretty fast, I think it would be about 5.5 to 6 miles!).

Have been pretty good otherwise but I'm taking cakes to work tomorrow too although I've put in an extra small one for me.

    Hiya,

    Today's menu:

B: bacon, pached egg, beans, sausage (6 syns), black pudding (3 syns)
    L: 2 wholemeal bread, chicken.
    D:Shepherd's pie, broccoli, green beans.
    Snacks: 1 sponge finger (1 syn), 1 wafer curl (1 syn), 3 melba toasts 1 1/2 syns TOTAL SYNS: 12 1/2.

I decided to use my last square sausage and black pudding from the freezer, so no more breakfast temptations are left, and as I synned it, there's no harm done there.

Went out for a walk today, so trying to get some exercise daily.

    Speak later. x
