I thought the 1/3 superfree only applied whilst doing extra easy?? Maybe I've been doing it wrong!!

While I'm here, can anyone tell me where online (in diary) to find beansprouts. i had some last night and I am sure they are free (I had all raw food last night, fab) but cannot find them under beans, lentils or anything else.:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

bean sprouts are free on all of the plans:)When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!0 -

Hi All
Started SW on Tuesday but have been reading this thread for a while and want to join all you "losers". I hope I'll be saying that next week! lol Yesterday I decided to EE day and my food was:
B - 2 x Weetabix (HEB)
250ml Semi Skimmed Milk (HEA)
150ml Orange Juice (5 syns) I think!
L - Ham with lots of salad and 1 spoon of extra light mayo (0.5 syns)
D - Bolognese Sauce
Pasta
Broccoli
Peppers, Mushrooms,Onions
S - Loads of free fruit and Mullerlight yoghurt.
Does this sound ok as still all new to me!
Well done to all the people who have lost weight.

I was gaining weight for no reason when I stuck to the Plan a while back.:( Turned out after my Consultant spoke to the Area Manager that I was over-eating.:( Apparently my Consultant said "altho you can eat as much free food as you like only so much as you need to be full".
Problem is I have difficulty knowing when I'm full because the medication I'm on (according to the Pharmacist) stops the message from my stomach to my brain getting thru letting my brain know I'm full!
Apparently according to the Pharmacist this is how all medication that says "you will put on weight" works - it's not the medication that puts on weight, but it's the fact that you no longer know when you are full.0 -
Morning all
Now functioning better after a cuppa :rotfl:
I have made a goulash type dish for tea tonight -was going to be plain ole stew but I had some passata open in the fridge. I will add some quark or yogurt when i re-heat it later to make it creamy.
Hubby is golfing today so if he is back late I will have my dinner as usual and nuke his when he gets back
EE meals for today are:-- 250ml semi skimmed (A)
- 250ml semi skimmed (6.5 syns)
- 2 apples
- sliced roast beef
- salad
- tartare sauce (syn free)
- fruit
- goulash
- steamed potatoes
- savoy cabbage
- cauliflower
- peas
- apples/oranges
- possibly a cereal bar to use my (B)
the tartare sauce is :-
serves 4
free- 198g/7oz very low fat fromage frais
- 6 gherkins -finely chopped
- 2tbs capers -finely chopped
- fresh dill and parsley -chopped (I missed this out as I didn't have any in )
- fresh lemon juice to taste ( I added zest)
- seasoning
- Just mix and chill until required :rotfl:
. I reckon Im going to try using this sauce to make potato salad next time too mmmmmmmm

..Im lucky because I have always eaten silly amounts of veg n fruit so I can do the 1/3 bit easily -in fact my plate is usually at least 1/2 veggies
Hi MrsM, I still eat lots of superfree foods on green and red days, there's just no requirement that I have to ensure my meals follow the one third rule. Kind of how EE was when it was first introduced, and the one third rule didn't exist. I agree though that most days it doesn't make a difference to me as I normally eat lots of veggies and fruit too:) Tartare sauce recipe sounds yum btwClaire, is there a recipe/method that goes with this? I know I can't actually call it 'free' due to the misuse of free foods thingy but we love nachos and this would be a healthier version to do as a treat and OH could still have his doritos.
I can't see one but I found this recipe for the tortilla chips, and you could just make your own chilli to go on top. Am gutted guys. Bar the night out for my anniversary I have stuck to this and gained 2lb this week !!! I have my birthday night out on friday which i'll just call free and forget it. I am not at class on wed because of work so have 12 days to lose weight before my next WI If I don't lose then I will call it quits for a while. I am going to have mainly red days to see if it is the carbs that are causing this. I know it works I have previously lost 5 stone and am trying to lose the 1stone 4 I have put on in the past 18 months.:happyhear YUMMY MUMMY TO HENRY BEAR AGED 10:happyhearslimming world need to get back to target 25lb to goDisney World here we come May 2018:j0
