Weeeeeell! Been to wi tonight and lost half a pound. I'm happy with that as I don't have much to lose and that's 5.5pounds in a month. However, we have a stand in consultant as our old one has left and they haven't got a new one yet. I asked for a diary sheet when she was giving them to some other memebers and she huffily told me I couldn't have one as I'd lost this week. I explained that I always do a food diary as it helps keep me on track......she told me that it wasn't normal behaviour!!! I've been doing it for blimming years, as soon as I stop writing my food down I pile on the pounds.

Ah well, I shall carry on with my food diary, I'll just make my own!

It's 2 weeks to my next wi as we're going camping for a couple of days next week. I hope I ncan keep on track for that long!!!

Was looking at getting the ingredients for you yummy potato salad/pasta salad dressing. What is "philli type cheese -garlic and herb"?? Much appreciated

It is a cream cheese - Philadelphia Cream Cheese - you can buy it plain or different flavours plus most supermarkets have their own name similar type "philli" cheese.
When life hands you lemons, ask for tequilla and salt and give me a call!!!

No you don't have to syn the chickpeas if you're using them in the right way (as you would be with Hummus. It's only if you want to use chickpeas as an alternative to flour (as you would if making a cake) that they are synned. Here is a very simple recipe for hummus if you want one:-

    Three tins of chickpeas
Juice and rind of two lemons
    Salt
1 or 2 cloves of garlic
Half tub of syn free fromage frais

    Simply blend all ingredients together.
Keeps well in the fridge for 3/4 days.

I'm a hummous addict so will try that recipe. I might add in some whizzed up red peppers or chillis to jazz it up a bit. I hadn't thought to add fromage grais.

Well another 3lb off tonight. I only need another 0.5lb to get my stone, so hopefully I will have managed a stone in six weeks! Really thrilled!

Also, which free salad dressing do people use? I've been synning the LF Pizza Express one, but would prefer a free one if anyone can recommend one.

How do I find syns for Starbucks coffee??
I'd like to buy a Mocha frappuccino or a Iced Caramel Macchiato

Stick to a tall or grande, and use your HEA on the milk and they can work out as yummy low syn treats. If you don't wan't to use any syns try a non fat latte/capp with some sugar free syrup (free).
You would have to syn them as it would be misuse of free food. There are recipes - or rather there used to be loads out there but I think they will have been removed by now since the powers that be at SW saw what we do when they're not looking :rotfl:

I know its wrong but sooner or later i'm going to be tempted by this recipe here for cheesy chilli nachos *drools*:rotfl:

Sadly cheese can only be counted as a HEB on the Green plan :(
Thanks for that consultant -I don't often bother with cheese (Im to tight fisted with my syns :D) -So its no great hardship -I would rather eat cottage cheese anyway :A:rotfl:.....
I have some cereal bars now for those days when I don't have weetabix and can't think of what to have has my healthy B

After seeing the syns in some of those coffees -Im glad Im more of a tea belly :p

Well we went for our walk earlier -1hr of walking through the woods and some of it was up slow long drags -so hopefully that will have wobbled a few more ounces off :D.
By the time we got back (via the supermarket) I thought I had gone past having some tea  -but by the time the potatoes had steamed and I had done the ham salads I was ready -and it was lovely.
I have also made some tartar sauce  -will see how nice it is once it has stood -I love the stuff and I can have it on my salad free -saving 0.5syn on dressing :rotfl:. I have also reformed my love affair with "giant pickled slugs" *big gherkins to the normal person* -I forgot how much I loved them :o

Im making a beef casserole tomorrow as hubby is golfing in a competition and Friday so we aren't sure what time he will be in -so its nice n easy to re-heat for him ;)

well done on the losses everyone :T

I have a huge ole slowcooker that lives on my work top -but I have to admit that at the moment I either stew in my beloved remoska or I have a tagine with a cast iron bottom that is great for stewing in the oven or on top of the stove and I use it on top more (mainly as it fills the whole blinkin oven and gets too close to the gas jets):rotfl:
