aliscrapper and marion - thanks so much for the ryvita info. I've only just started buying it, and its nice to know I can have 2 more than i thought if I need to. I've seen the fruit crunch before and avoided them thinking they'd be high in syns, so i'll be picking some up this week now. And sorry for any confusion mrsmortenkat
blackberryrum & highflyer79 well done on your losses:T
MrsM - Those fibre plus bars are really yummy. Any chocoholics out there should go and buy some, great with a cup of tea in the evenings and feels like a real treat.
Takeiteazy - hope you feel better soon:(
joey-lou - good luck for tomorrow, try and just put it behind you and move on. Easier said than done I know, but you should be really proud of what you've lost so far:T0 -
Well done Jo!:T0

I'm just back in the house, I have mrsm's beef rogan josh in my slow cooker and it smells fantastic. I'm going to have it tomorrow for dinner.
Will be back later to report my eats. x0 -
Hey Guys,
Lost 1.5lbs this week :-)
So now only 2st to go in 10weeks! Somehow i don't reckon it will happen!
Tried a few recipes over the week - i mentions the pickled onion soup about a gizzillion pages ago, which i added tabasco sauce, chilli & garlic to and found it fantastic!
I also made the mushy pea curry, which considering i HATE mushy peas (i gag when i open the tin & cooking it because it smells like cat food) was absolutely amazing! I added more spices & chillies etc cos i like it hot!!! But i surprised myself!
Whilst reading through the mass amount of pages since my last post, someone said about the depo making them fat (sorry can't remember the name!) and i have been on the depo for about 6 years now - hence the reason for the initial weight gain! but SW works fantastically - i spoke to the nurse and it doesn't actually make you gain weight as such - it increases your appetite, which is why i think SW works brilliantly when you are on it as you can eat lots of free foods and keep (we hope) the hunger pangs away.
Sorry for going on but if i can loose over 3st in about 28 weeks then anyone can - i constantly crave chocolate & carbs! (Don't mean to blow my own trumpet (but i am proud of myself))
Menu for the day (Green or EE not sure yet!)
Brekkie (yes i have managed to eat it 3 days in a trot now!) 2 weetabix (heb) 50ml milk (mixed with water to make it go further!!!) (hea) with sliced banana - lunch was mushy pea curry with rice & roasted courgettes/tomatoes/aubergine/spring onion - jelly (0.5) with strawberries, grapes and FF fromage frias with sweetner & strawberry flvaouring - not sure what got for dinner - might have pollock with something or another portion of mushy pea curry & then have scan bran/hi fi bar depends on the dinner!
Feeling peckish so might have melon or mug shot or b naughty and have alpen light bar!
Hoping for at least 2.5lbs this week and next so i can reach my 3 1/2st award! So need to reign the syns in a bit!
Well done for all the losses this week0 -

Been considering giving the mushy pea curry a go; but don't like pea's. Looks like I should try it out! Thank you!
I'm on the depo injection too - thanks for the information about that!:beer:0 -

Hey everyone, I've been lurking for a week or so but now I'm jumping in and getting involved!
I joined SW 2 weeks ago, I've just had my second weigh in and put on the 1.5lbs I had lost the previous week. I'm really not happy, as this is not the way it's meant to go right? I didn't complete a food diary this week so I've probably been sneaking in extra syns without counting them and I'm still getting used to the whole EE/Green/Red plan.
Just looking for some support really, it will probably help if I start posting my diary.
Anyway, look forward to chatting to you all more!

Welcome to the thread!:)
Please do post your diary here; as then we can all help you if there are any things on the Plan that you haven't completely understood. If you fill in your food diary your Consultant can also help you by checking it for you.
Don't be dispondant; the Plan seems really confusing when you start but will soon be second nature.0 -
