Hey lisa
Another thing Im doing is us8ing fitbug which is basically a pedometer but its linked to pru health points.
Anyway PRU saythat for best health 12500 steps a day needed. I am generally managing that even if i have to run up and down the stairs a few times at 11.30 to achieve it lol.
Might be worth getting a bog standard pedometer and seeing if you can stick to it.
Im sure its not just SW that is making me look a little more toned:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
oh, I ought to get a pedometer! Next time I'm in town will buy one.
I try & get on the wii fit as well...but a crawling baby & the wii fit just don't mix, lol!0 -
Had my first WI yesterday. Lost 1 1/2 and was tiny bit disappointed, considering what I given up and all the walking I've done I thought it would have been a tad more.
Gonna sit down lunchtime when the baby is sleeping and try to do a meal plan for this week.0 -
well done losers! There are some big losses this week, I wonder if it's the sudden cooling of the weather making us shiver and burn calories?:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Morning all
Well done on the losses everyone :T
Jayne -I didn't blitz the onions down in the sauce (but I chop pretty fine anyway) It was really nice -so a definite "do it again" in this house-think I might do it on chicken chunks next time...
My EE meals today should be:-- 250ml semi (a)
- 2 weetabix (B)
- 1 apple
- roast beef
- roasted onions, parsnips n carrots
- 1/2 tsp oil (1 syn)
- orange
- huge salad
- 1tbs yogurt dressing (0.5syn)
- ham
- steamed potatoes
- fruit
I managed to ignore the new cereal bars in the cupboard yesterday :T-it is my test, as I don't want to start using them "just because they are in the house" -so lets see how long I can be good shall we
Can't wait for my new cookbooks to arrive as so far I think I have done 5 recipes and all have been hits-I am meal planned for this week, I find it much better to know what is coming and its easier to make sure we are getting variety.
Right I had better get off -have a great day everyone :T-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Hi everyone!
Well done to everyone who has lost weight and keep goingI know there are days (weeks
) when things don't go to plan but I think the fact that you are all trying and have SW at the back of your mind is brilliant and great motivation for me so thanks :T
I haven't posted in a couple of weeks as work has been hectic and I am now moving in 3 weeks time so lots of sorting and packing going on!
SW-wise I put on 2 lbs last week and then lost it again at weigh in yesterday so I'm back where I was.
Hope you are all having a lovely week :jStart weight - 13st 6lbs
First goal weight - 11st 13lbs
Current weight - 12st 6lbs0 -
Made a frittata last night with left over potatoes and purple sprouting and my boyfriend said how delicious it was. I thought I was going to get complaints as he is a manual worker and not overweight. This is a very good start!0

aliscrapper and marion - thanks so much for the ryvita info. I've only just started buying it, and its nice to know I can have 2 more than i thought if I need to. I've seen the fruit crunch before and avoided them thinking they'd be high in syns, so i'll be picking some up this week now. And sorry for any confusion mrsmortenkat
blackberryrum & highflyer79 well done on your losses:T
MrsM - Those fibre plus bars are really yummy. Any chocoholics out there should go and buy some, great with a cup of tea in the evenings and feels like a real treat.
Takeiteazy - hope you feel better soon:(
joey-lou - good luck for tomorrow, try and just put it behind you and move on. Easier said than done I know, but you should be really proud of what you've lost so far:T0 -

Don't be disappointed - that's a really healthy weight loss!:T
Everyone's body loses weight at different rates unfortunately. I know I'm someone that even when I've stuck strictly to the Plan doesn't lose more than 1-1.5 pound a week; just the way my body works unfortunately.:( But they do say if the weight is slow to come off; it will more than likely stay off in the long term!:D0
