Thank you for all the get wells, I did go to work today but have been feeling poorly all day [IBS].

    B - weetabix [bs] milk [a] coffee

    L - felt awful so wasn't hungry :o

had to work in after school club so had muller & babybel [a] about 4.30pm.

T - felt bit better so had noodles, stirfried veg & gravy.

    Snacks - banana, apple, satsuma

Syns - would have been 2 pitta for lunch but didn't eat them so no syns today :o

Can't believe I didn't feel hungry at lunchtime, was on duty in dinner hall surrounded by food and not a hunger pang in sight, must be ill :rotfl:

Hope you feel better soon! IBS is awful!:(

Well done to all those losers, especially those of you who are going through some testing times.

I managed a 2lb loss this week, which I'm pleased about as I had three night shifts to contend with. I am going to cook up a big batch of free pasta sauce tomorrow, some syn free quiche and some syn free pizza (don't know if you have seen the recipe on mini mins, but its a pizza base using 57g of tesco crusty wholemeal bread mix). That lot should keep me going for a few days anyway.

    Have a good week all,

    HF79

Have you got a link to the syn free pizza please or can you tell me whereabouts on the mini mins forum I could find it please?? Pizza is my downfall where the Plan is concerned!:( Thanks
  • You can make a syn free pizza base with Smash(instant mash). Use less water than packet instructions and mix to a dough, roll out onto parchment paper and cook in oven until starting to brown slightly.Add your toppings and return to oven until cooked.

    Hi everyone

    I haven't posted for a while,but i have been lurking.

I am dreading weigh in tomorrow as i know i haven't been following it 100%.:o
I guess I will face the music tomorrow!!

    Why do i self sabbatage?
I have been doing well until recently but i lose a stone then get complacent.

I think its because i have been on a semi permenant diet since i was 13.I am nearly 38 now!!
I just cannot picture myself slim but i am unhappy with my size.
I will carry on though - i'm just thinking out loud.

It's nice to see so many new faces on this thread.
everyone else keep up the good work, you are all doing so well.

    Jo

    Good evening,

    Here's my menu from today:

B: Syn free burger, omelette with cottage cheese with chives, beans.
L: Baked potato with tuna and sweetcorn, with quark and 1 spoon of mayo (2 syns).
D:Chicken and Rice Soup. Fish and mushy peas (MRS M) I was at my mum's so tinned ones, they were Horry Romsden ones, they were actually very nice.
Snacks: Muller Strawberry yoghurt, 1 chocolate curl (1 syn), 1 sponge finger (1 syn) Options Hot Choc (2 syns), Milk HEA, Hi Fi Bar HEB.

So, 6 syns today, that's not bad! I have been good so far this week, weigh in on Thursday, but my * has turned up, so hopefully it will not affect things too much. I went out another walk tonight, maybe that will shift some of my girth.:D

    Will see you tomorrow. x

    Syn free pizza base

This is actually 75g using 2x heb

Not sure the link will work but the minimins link is to a clever lady called dietgrrl's blog and she has submitted the recipe and gotten it approved by SW.

I am so happy right now as I lost 3 lbs at WI tonight:D:D:D:D:D:D I know some of that is probably down to my lack of appetite the last few days, but I'm over the moon regardless especially as its my * week:j
If the Ryvita are in the red pack they are the "original ryvita" which is a speed "b" choice. Lovely with a laughing cow light!

Just checked the SW website and the following are allowed as a "b" choice on any of the days:
    2 Ryvita Fruit Crunch
2 Ryvita Pumpkin Seeds & Oat
    2 Ryvita Original
    2 Ryvita Dark Rye
    2 Ryvita Sesame

I love the Ryvita Fruit Crunch - really nice if you have a sweetness craving - they are a bit like garabaldi biscuits (not that I would know!:rotfl:)
    HTH
You also choose 4 of the Ryvita Original, Dark Rye or Sesame as a HB. You can have 2 as a speed food or 4 as a normal Healthy Extra B. I always go for the 4 because 2 just wouldn't fill me up!

    Marion

aliscrapper and marion - thanks so much for the ryvita info. I've only just started buying it, and its nice to know I can have 2 more than i thought if I need to. I've seen the fruit crunch before and avoided them thinking they'd be high in syns, so i'll be picking some up this week now. And sorry for any confusion mrsmortenkat:o

blackberryrum & highflyer79 well done on your losses:T

MrsM - Those fibre plus bars are really yummy. Any chocoholics out there should go and buy some, great with a cup of tea in the evenings and feels like a real treat.

Takeiteazy - hope you feel better soon:(

joey-lou - good luck for tomorrow, try and just put it behind you and move on. Easier said than done I know, but you should be really proud of what you've lost so far:T
    :starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:
  • blackberryrum & highflyer79 & Claire (and any other losers I've forgotten) - :T:T:T on the losses! Inazuma and Takeiteazy - hope you feel better soon.

I haven't posted my menu for today as it was a disgrace! I started really well with sf sausages, tomatoes, egg and sf potato cake for breakfast, but I think I had too big a portion and felt REALLY stuffed after it and for some reason that always sends me off track - I ended up eating all kinds of bits and so tonight I feel awful and tomorrow is WI. I was hoping to have a loss but after today I will be glad of a STS.

MrsM - The barbecue sauce sounds lovely - did you blitz it to make it smooth or leave the onion bits in it for texture?

Talking of restaurants doing SW menus - the local chinese takeaway by me does SW meals -he does "fried" rice and chow mein which he reckons are free - apparantly his wife is a SW member and she told him how to do the stuff.

    Good luck to tomorrow's weighers!

Well yesterday had only 2 syns, dinner was lovely, massive quorn chilli/ rice/sweet pots. I used the cottage cheese tip ;) worked well :) Also treated myself to a taco shell at 2 syns. The leftover Im definately freezing and will have as a filling for sweet pots made into jackets ( yum)

I was sort of thinking about having something sweet as well, but then promptly fell asleep reading the SW magazine :rotfl: So making beef bourginon from the magazine tonight with roasted parsnips and baby news in fry-lite.

    Looking forward to this :j

Off out for the day today so heaven knows if ill be able to stick to it ( sure I will) but have mislaid my book of food optimising somewhere in the house

have got all ingredients to make jaffa-cake sundae, trifle sponges, tinned mandarins and choc orange Muller which I think is 1.5 syns

Feel quite pleased I managed to have an easy syn free ( almost) day yesterday shouldmake up for the cereal and extra Jaffa cakes the other day  :D

Hope everyone has a fab day
