It's me again and have to tell you I have had a fantastic tea in fact on par with the expensive meal out we had on saturday
Salmon fillet (morrisons frozen £2.85 for 2 and they are big)
Brocoli (normally boring but am trying as it is super speed ) put a dessert spoon of pilidelphia garlic and herb cream cream cheese over the brocolli - WOW
And for the crem de la crem when we wenti for this meal I had pasta with this shredded courgette and chilli topping s thought i'd give it a go. Grated a courgette put in frying pan added garlic and then went to put chilli in it but didn't have any so a sprinkle of mild chilli powder OMG WOW was stunning and free
So thought I'd share it with you would also be lush with a bit of quark to make it a little creamy and put over pasta mmmmmmmmm
Now what shall i have for pudding
? NOT the creme brulee I had on saturday night lol:happyhear YUMMY MUMMY TO HENRY BEAR AGED 10:happyhearslimming world need to get back to target 25lb to goDisney World here we come May 2018:j0 -

nic2075 congrats to your OH on his new job, but boo for having to be apart:(
aliscrapper - I love cod and have had it a few times with the schwartz creamy parsley sauce mix. Its 5 syns for the whole pack, and you only need half for one person. Use some milk from your HEA and you have a lovely sauce for only 2.5syns. I like the sound of recovering spendaholics tomato sauce though, will try that next time for a change.
wendyphant - i've no idea if its even the same thing but I bought a schwartz tuna napolitana sauce mix at the weekend. Haven't tried it yet but its 5 syns for the packet?
Well couldn't face that dinner in the end so had some nimble toast (HEB) and cheese(HEA). I'm having a green day here today, still don't have much of an appetite but much better than yesterday:
B: 1 x weetabix (1/2 HEB), 175ml unsweetened soya milk (1/2 HEA), banana
L: 2 x ryvita (HEB 2), 2 x diarylea light triangles (other 1/2 HEA), tomato
S: coffee, pineappleSW chips, beans, 6 quorn chicken style dippers (3 syns)
Thanks Claire. Will have to get some of the schwartz creamy parsley sauce mix:beer:0 -

Thanks recovering spendaholic for your recipesounds scrummy
Today's food is EE
B - 28g banana bisks with chopped banana (heb) Milk (synning this today = 125ml of milk = 2)
L - Egg, bacon, toms, mushrooms and reheated leftover potatoes
D - Lasagne (making it the "parent friendly" way) packet of cheese sauce made up with milk (= 3.5 syns per portion) with 42g of grated low low over the top (hea) with SW chips
Fresh fruit salad for dessert (making up for lack of 1/3 superfree!)
S - Cookie (4) chocolate muffin (3.5) - its obvious * week is on its way lol
Total syns = 13 (still have the w/g crackerbread to have to make up the rest of heb)
I made the chocolate muffins from an Asda packet mix. The whole thing is 56 syns (including the added milk) but i stretched it to make 18 muffins (instead of 6 lol) which = 3.5 syns per muffin! Yippeee!!
It's horrible when you have to watch someone else eat what you'd love to eat!:(0 -
Just had the Vegetable Curry with the receipe from this thread. We decided to add Quorn Chunks to it and it was scrummy:D! Also had enough leftover to freeze down 2 portions!:D0

Evening everyone
well done on the losses again folks :T
Well -we have just had tea (ham pasta salad) -and it was declared "the nicest pasta salad we have had" :j- good job too as the tub of mayo in the fridge we used pre-SW is going in the bin 6syns per dst:eek:- I mixed 100g fat free fromage frais -0 syns
- 50g low fat garlic n herb cream cheese 2 syns
- 2tbs yogurt dressing (to lighten it up) 1 syn
- plenty of seasoning
Tomorrow Im doing barbecue sauce and marinating chunks of pork to make kebabs -on a bed of egg fried rice. I will report back and post the recipe if its a good one-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Tonight were having ??syn free?? leftovers lol Chickentagine ( ish) made from left over chicken, chick peas ( are these synned?? peppers, courgette, onions mushroom paprika and cumin. Ill sefve this with plain couscous I reckon.
Have been really busy today so I have had 1x alpen lite HEb, tea with my skimmed milk HEA , and banana, one rice cake ( 2 sys) muller. Then for lunch had half packet of the marmite rice cakes (2.5) more cottage cheese and some of the left over salad, banana with a bit of yoghurt on. Half a pack of these is much more "filling" than one large rice cake so would choose these again but not sure on the flavour but they are pretty "dense".
I made a spinach & mushroom lasagne as the stuff needed using up, I made the sauce with fromage frais and it went a bit wrong- looks lumpy and weird- , tastes nice though, have had a bit of it but will save the rest for luncheon tomorrow with a salad.
Depending on whether the chickpeas have syns I will probably have French fries or pom bears that I really fancy and maybe a jaffa cake- although I do have my other alpen light to have too :j - I have the choc fudge ones they are really lovely! have to go to market tomorrow to get more fruit, the prices in town were extortionate, so am a bit thin on the ground fruit wise tonight.
Love reading about what everyone makes its so inspirational :T :j:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
thanks all
thank goodness that WI made me happy - cos the rest of the day has been HORRIBLE:( - suffice it to say a Bank Holiday and a grumpy OH aren't a brilliant mix.
never mind - its nearly over and tomorrow will be better:DOnward and upward - with the odd step to the side
November GC £255/£3000 -

I'm like that when Other Half starts to eat "naughties". I have to remove myself from temptation!:rotfl:
I was tempted to try that curry but haven't yet tried it for the same reason. The vegetable curry was scrummy tonight tho and I left out the peas!:D0 -
I don't think you can taste the mushy peas at all, Vixie_Pixie, but then I like mushy peas so not sure if I would notice, IYKWIM.
The one I make also has a tin of this in it (also 0 syns) so you could maybe use that (or just plain chickpeas whizzed up) instead of the mushy peas for a similar effect.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
