Rotherham Lass,
I got quark in Asda, but I had to really look for it, it was beside cottage cheese. It is a big store, so they might not have it in the smaller ones.
Here's my menu for today:
B: 2 boiled eggs, mashed up in a cup.
L: Bacon sandwich on brown bread (HEA)
S: Chicken, mushroom and noodle soup (chinese style)Pizza Chicken with grated cheese on top (HEB), syn free chips, garden
peas, sweetcorn.
S: small bounty style bar (5 syns), 1 wafer curl (1 syn).
Tea, coffee, water and juice for drinks (sugar free juice).
Exercise today was swimming this morning and mowing my lawn tonight. And that was some job. At least it is done now!:T:T
Hope everyone has had a nice bank holiday. xx0 -

Are the wafer curls those "cigar" type biscuits? Or do you mean something else? I love wafer :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Well done on the loses again this evening :T
Come on folks -tell me Im not the only one who adores mushy peas-I love them in a bowl with mint sauce on
-then again I also love a bowl of knobby greens (brussel sprouts) :rotfl:oh and cold cabbage
.... I think that there is only fennel that I won't eat and I think I can survive without that
I decided to be super organised -so I made the barbecue sauce and now have it in a bag with the pork chunks in it sitting in the fridge.
I got hubby to taste the sauce when it was done and he is loving it :T -its really nice -so I will share the recipe tomorrow, and Im planning on making the sauce again to throw in stir fries-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

Yes, that's them lynzpower. I get mine from farmf00ds, they are £1 for a tin of them and they have chocolate inside, so they are great for 1 syn. I alternate between them and the sponge fingers to have with tea or coffee. The bounty bars I get are from a$da, but I don't eat them everyday.
I don't use frozen foods as I'm not that keen on them, but farmf00ds is fantastic for bread (2 h0vis for £1), milk 2 for £1.50 and teabags etc. My mum gets her fizzy pop from here as it is the cheapest price around. I went in there on Saturday as I had a money off voucher. Oh, and the toilet rolls are good as well.:rotfl:
I do however, use frozen green beans, which I buy there, £1 for a big bag.
Oh, I forgot to say Lynz, the cigars are stripey and the stripe goes round and round the wafer, a useless piece of info, but it makes them look nice.0 -

I love mushy peas Mrs M, but I like to make mine from dried peas, they are much better than the tins. I like to eat mine with steak pie:drool::rotfl:.
Do you think your barbecue sauce would go well with chicken? I am going to make your rogan josh this week as it sounds delish.
I seem to use the  smiley a lot, can you tell why I am on slimming world?:p0 -

Yep, I was told one syn, one of the girls at the class told me, there's not that much to them really, but they hit the spot.;) I've just checked the book and it is 1 syn for the fan wafer, so I know that it is right. I can see you rushing down to the shops tomorrow for them. They come in a brown tin, I think the name on it is Moda, but I'll check it out. I went downstairs to check, the name on the tin is Monetta, and I have just eaten another one! ;0)

L - late afternoon, noodles 'fried' until crispy + couple small new potatoes sliced up & beans
T - sw chips & beans, tomato sauce [1syn]
Syns - 1
Still feel yucky, been asleep on and off most of day probably won't sleep tonight now. Tummy still grumbling [not through hunger] sounds like that poppin stuff the kids eat  very uncomfortable though.
Can't think of anything I've eaten thats set this off so hopefully just a 24 hour thing.
Well done to all the losers :T:TIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
