    HELLO! :j
I would like to join this thread please!
I'm back at slimming world in 2 weeks and raring to get started again.
I lost 3 stone since last July, but have put back about a stone (I have depression and anxiety) and have had a short break from the group.

can someone please tell me, is there anywhere with all the recipes in once place here? Or do I just keep reading and saving them as I see them?
I have heard some recipes mentioned and there are so many posts and different threads for slimming, I can't find them all

Welcome to the thread. I'm a newbie to the thread; so I'm sure someone will be along soon to answer the question about the receipes.

I joined Slimming World and lost 3 stone originally and put back on 1.5 stone of it; but since re-joining I've managed to up my loss to 5 stone 10 pounds. This thread and the people on it are so wondefully supportive that I'm sure in no time you will be back on you Slimming World journey.:D

  • Hi Jonty1970! Thanks for the link to the recipes Vixie! I am trying to convince myself that I don't need anything to eat. I am not at all hungry but have that urge to have something snacky and nice IYKWIM? I have pineapple and Mullerlights in lots of different flavours but I just don't fancy them. DD1 is doing SW with me and she is just about to go out into town clubbing and has asked me to do her some chicken thighs for when she comes in - I don't know whether to do them now and have one or two but I sort of think that may be too much for this time of night. :wall:

    you're welcome :)

In terms of feeling snacky - i feel like that all the time (esp * week) i find that i will give in eventually and end up doing more damage. If you fancy one - have one!! :D:D

    Hi,

I'd love to join this thread as I've recently signed up to SW, my group is really nice/supportive, but it would be great to have support throughout the week. I had my first weigh in last Tuesday and had lost 2lbs, which am pleased about as am still getting my head around the red/green and extra easy options, plus it was my * week. Am the queen of ready meals and have never really cooked anything from scratch, but over the last couple of days have made carrot/coriander soup and chilli con carne, have to say both were scrummy and can't believe how much I'm allowed to eat! :j

    Hello,

    Here's my menu from today:

B: Syn free burger, sausage, bacon, beans, egg, black pudding (3 syns).
L: Homemade ham and lentil soup with veg in.
D:Roast Beef, potatoes, veg, yorkshire puddings (6 syns).
S: Roll (HEA), toasted with cheese (HEB), wee bounty bar (5 syns)

so, 14 syns today. I had forgotten about the yorkshire puds until I wrote it down here, so shouldn't have bothered with the bounty bar. Ah well, it could have been worse, some days I don't use all my syns, so will be more careful over the next couple of days. I resisted g&t last night, I hardly ever drink, but sometimes have one on a Saturday night, but that usually entails 2 or 3 packs of crisps as well, so not a good idea.;)

I did go out walking with my sister today and am going swimming tomorrow, so hopefully will get rid of some of the bounty that way.:o
