    Morning all

Hello to the newbies :wave:and well done on the loses folks :T

Its looking a bit overcast and soggy here -still, at least its cool :D . We are hoping to get a walk around the lake tonight -although we may miss it as we have been "doggy sitting" for a couple of weeks and they were suposed to pick her up last night -but she is still here, and no call or anything :wall: -So I assume she will get picked up tonight !!!
We are planning on going for a walk around the lake every weekday evening (weather permitting) -so that should help move things along ;)

Anyway -my EE meals for today look like this:-
    • 250ml semi skimmed (A)
    • 2 weetabix (B)
    • apple
    • potatoes, carrots, cauli, cabbage, broccoli -bubble n squeaked
    • bacon
    • orange
    • Pasta salad:-
    • pasta
    • ham
    • cucumber
    • carrots
    • onions
    • celery
    • peppers
    • tomato
    • peas
    • sweetcorn
    • fat free quark/fromage frais
    • 2tbs yogurt dressing (1syn)
    • fruit
With this talk of OHs and there "goody" buying Im so glad I have my hubby as he doesn't have a sweet tooth  and even when we shop its very rare for him to throw anything in the trolley -unless you count ryvita type crispbreads:rotfl:. Im not sure what I would do if I had to have crisps and the like in the house for packed lunches etc

I can't wait for my other SW books to arrive (about friday I reckon) as Im really looking forward to trying more recipes out -I have meal planned for this week so that is that sorted.

Hope everyone has a good day -and keep up the good work

    Hiya all

I woke up starving in the middle of the night and I had a bowl of cereal and 2 squares of chocolate so I failed yesterday :(

I was really starving though yesterday and I ate like a horse!

i have oxtail to make a jamaican oxtail stew with but it really looks very fatty.

Im not convinced- how are you meant to remove the visible fat off it, just hack it off? will it slow cook ok though? Ive no idea if this is going to work

Dinner last night was a syn free affair except I put creme fraiche on it instead of yog or FF so used valuble points on that  at self just wasnt thinking straight.

    However I made
Butterfly chicken grilled seasoned with jerk and paprika spices
jamie oliver mexican street salad ( radish, cabbage, carrots, spring onoins) except I didnt have any lime or coriander so chose make a dressing from quark/ yog with some tabasco pepper sauce in (loads left!) which worked really well :j although it is slightly hot
2x taco shells as these are only 2syns each
loads of HG salad leaves :D
plain boiled rice to go with it.

then I made the baked cinamon bananas using splenda brown and a tsp of marg- it was lovely covered with a toffee muller. OH aggreed it was one o f the nicest desserts Ive made for ages (!!) Obviously you have to syn the banana as its cooked

OH said he kept thinking there must be something "missing" from it as it is SW freindly but said it was one of the nicest meals weve had in ages. Have to say, I agree there, it really was lovely. Lots of salad left and dressing so will no doubt eat some of that today :D

Feeling really weird, unwell and tired today. Hope that doesnt translate to me going way over the syns.

Can see the difference already as my legs particularly are starting to look quite a bit trimmer at the top. :j

I can see why they tell you not to weigh yourself through the week, it seems Ive lost 8lbsin 3 days LOL I dont think so! ( from 9stone 10 to 9stone 2)

Some brilliant recipes there :) thanks.

I got some cod fillets in the freezer that I planned to cook tomorrow. Has anyone got easy tasty suggestions what I can do with it?

I like cod baked in the oven with tomatoes and onions - I use dried onions and mix them with a tin of chopped tomatoes and some mixed herbs, salt and pepper and then cover the cod with it and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes (more if the cod is frozen). If I have any cheese in my hea then I put some grated cheese on the top at the end and let it get brown, but its okay without. It's nice with sw chips.

I was really peckish last night and decided to cook a packet of pasta n sauce. It was free food and I knew that but it tasted "naughty" and so I felt like more to eat after it - does this happen to anyone else? Anyway I had a bowl of cereal which was off plan but it could have been worse I suppose:o

Today I got up late and so have just had a late brunch of omelette, filled with leerdammer light slice (hea) and mushy peas, followed by a mullerlight and some grapes. The kids are going out with their Dad this afternoon and so will have tea with him so there's just me to cook for tonight. I have chicken thighs in the fridge so may do them on the George Foreman and have them with some jersey royals and salad.

Weather here is quite cold today so I'm happy to stay in!

Hope you are all enjoying the Bank Holiday.

    Hi all

    Dreading weigh in tomorrow.

Reached my target 2 weeks ago. Then had birthday celebrations & have been unable to get back on the wagon.

I couldn't get to class last monday.

I haven't been too bad since Friday so I hope I've not put too much on.

    How embarrassing!
