dawnie1972 the Batchelors ones (made with water rather than milk & butter) are all free on green and EE except:
*cheese, leek and ham 1 syn
    *carbonara 0.5 syns
    *macaroni cheese 2 syns
*mild cheese and brocolli 0.5 syns

You could use milk from your HEA to make them up though.

Thanks all for the tips; have found a recipe for Syn free lemon meringue 'pie' and am going to try it later.

I think the key might be having something as my healthy b that is sweet, like you guys suggested, rather than a breakfast item, means I have it as a back up snack!

I am making breakfast for some friends tomorrow and am going to do my best to make it SW friendly, that means a bit of planning. I saw something cool before that I going to try, where you spray a muffin tray with frylight and line the holes with a couple of layers of wafer thin ham, then you make a kind of quiche in the holes and bake in the oven. I heard a nice 'breakfast burger' recipe with extra lean mince so am thinking ham, then a thin patty of that topped with an eggy topping. Serve with beans and tomatoes and mushrooms with bread for them, how does that sound? :)

Let us know how the syn free lemon meringue pie is - sounds scrummy!

I often have a big bowl of fruit salad and Muller light yogurt for breakfast as it means I can have one of the chocolate cereal bars to help with my sweetness cravings.

We often make a New York Bacon Cheeseburger which was from one of the Slimming World magazines. If you would like the receipe yell out!

    Classic New York Bacon Cheeseburger

    9 oz/255 g extra lean beef mince
1 shallot, very finely chopped (I just use an onion)
    A dash or Worcestershire sauc
1 garlic clove, crushed (I just use garlic granules)
4 lean bacon rashers, all visible fat removed

    To serve:
2 oz/57g wholemeal roll, cut in half (b choice)
    a few lettuce leaves
    1 tomato, sliced
2 X Kraft Dairylea Light cheese slices (healthy extra

Preheat the grill to very hot. Put the beef, shallots, worcestershire sauce, garlic and seasoning in a bowl and bring together using your fingers.
Divide the mixture into two and shape into burgers. Place on the grill pan with the bacon and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the burgers are cooked and the bacon is crisp. Remove and keep warm.
To serve, put one half of the bread roll on a place. Add lettuce, sliced tomato and two bacon rashers, before topping with a burger and cheese slice. Add the remaining bacon, burger and cheese and top with the other half of the roll

    Syns per serving
Original = Free (Add 6 syns if not using the bread roll as a Healthy Extra. Add a further 6 syns if you are not using the cheese as a Healthy Extra

I tried a couple of the Muller light yoghurts today in anticipation for my start on Monday, I tried Orange with chocolate bits and toffee, but they're a bit sickly sweet for my taste.

Does anyone know if the strawberry ones have lumps in? (I'm really wierd about lumps) I absolutely love the Ski Smooth yoghurts or any childens smooth yoghurts but am guessing they're not free :(.

Also, any tips for livening up Quark and cottage cheese?

    Cx

    Hi Storymaker:),

I'm afraid that the strawberry mullers do have lumps in them, I don't mind that, but my sister is exactly the same as you - she does not do lumps:rotfl:.

The raspberry and cranberry ones are smooth as are the vanilla and mandarin ones. HTH.
