Thanks for your quick reply MrsMcawber, I thought that I would only be counting the dip as well, it amounted to a tablespoon, I measured it!
Never again will I eat before checking : (

3½ Syns per package/portion on Extra Easy is what I made it as well!

    Hi HopePray -
I have just gone on line and I hope I have this right,,,,I make it 3.5syns
I selected to do the online calculator
then chose the select green free foods allowance (as noodles were the main ingredient )
then I worked out the syns .....Im pretty sure that is correct -as in theory on EE you should only be paying for the sweet chilli dressing

-BUT please don't eat extras just yet in case someone comes along and tells me Im wrong :rotfl:I'm only on my 2nd week so I may have it confuddled..

Just a thought -what was it called? only I have pulled some co-op salads up on the data base -It might be in there...

    I make it 3.5 syns too :)

    I found this one online

Co-op Healthier Choice, Sweet Chilli Chicken & Noodles, chilled 400g pack

    extraeasy.gif 6½ Syns on Extra Easy red.gif Original 6½ Syns green.gif Green 7 Syns

whoops! jsut posted on the old one .. anyway...
Hello. I used to go to slimming world and gave up a few months ago (not feeling too good and problems at home)
    Am wanting to join again.
    How much is it?
Do I have to join as a new member?
I had a card for weigh ins and wonder if I could still use that and still keep the weight I have already lost and add to it from now on, if you see what I mean
    Thanks for any replies :)

Well hello again :rotfl:I saw your post on the old thread and answered on there so here's a 'copy and paste' of that reply :-

You would have to rejoin (£9.95 at present) and because most groups are now using the ExpressWeigh system I don't think you would be able to keep your original weight-loss-to-date, but there's nothing stopping you from keeping your old book at home for your own satisfaction.

The weekly fee is now £4.95 (£4.65 for over 60s).

You're welcome to join in the thread on here for help and support, but please don't use this link as this thread has now closed. There is a new thread here:-

    hi
I started sw on 11.11.09. ive lost 1 st 9.5lbs. Ive fallen off the wagon a little bit the last few days. im going to get back on track tomorrow:j only 4.5 lbs to go and id have lost 2 stone.
On EE are cracker bread syn full or free? I normally have 2 slices of wholemeal toast for breakfast and have the milk as the other healthy option. (as i dont like hot drinks) the fruit for lunch and veg and meat for my tea.
Although my clothes have become loose i still dont feel any slimmer. Does that make sense? even though people comment that you can really see that ive lost weight. Diets are hard when you are a fussy eater like me. this is the most ive lost in a long time.
Mind you ive lost a out 14 inches all over (waist, hips, bum, bust, thigh, calf and ankle):T i would like to get another 2 stone off.

You can have 6 Ryvita Wholegrain Crackerbread as a HEB or count 1 syn each for them.

To be honest, I don't think fruit for lunch is enough, in fact your mealplan doesn't seem very varied at all. In order to lose weight really well with Food Optimising, it pays to eat lots of free foods and have as varied a diet as possible.

As an example you could have scrambled egg, mushrooms, tomatoes and lean bacon for breakfast. Jacket potato with tuna and a mixed salad for lunch and lean meat with lots of 'roast' veg (done in Frylight) for dinner.

If you're a fussy eater it's not impossible to lose weight, but it is much harder to make sure that you don't miss out on essential nutrients so do please plan carefully to incorporate as many varied foods as possible.

Wendy, I'm so sorry about your friend. When you feel able, just let your Consultant know why you couldn't stop to speak with her. I'm sure she'll understand.

Karen, I'm glad your Dad is feeling happy in himself - stay strong!

Recovering Spendaholic - WOW....what a start you've made  well done!

Very happy with first week WI.

I lost 3 lb so only 8.5 lb to go again now, note the "again" part. Maintaining on WW was impossible, hopefully I can do it on SW with all the free foods and not "pointing" fruit which I always thought was crazy.

Hubby lost 4.5 so is really pleased too.

Looking forward to another week - this one is going to be harder, my brother is getting married tomorrow and I am a bridesmaid, and my other brother has come over from Los Angeles and is staying with us, and - deep breath - it's my birthday on Saturday! Argghhh - will make wise choices as usual so shouldnt actually be too bad at WI

So glad I made the change to SW.

    Good evening,

I have been to my WI tonight and have lost 2lbs. :j I'm going to write a shopping list and get some bits and bobs in tomorrow. Going to start on my wii fit again and buy myself a pair of nice trainers and joggy trousers to do some walking as well. I like to do this with it being lighter at night.

I'm very pleased and this thread is fantastic! Lots of great info. x
