Hey girls, i need an urgent help if poss!!

I havent told anyone im on SW as i really dont want the hassle of everyone making a big deal that im on a diet, or which is more likely - them trying to feed me junk!!! :(

So, my friend who i havent seen for ages has announced that we're going out tonight and she wants to go to pizza express as shes on WW and can have the legerra range!!

Any ideas on the best SW choice? Im still playing points over in my head and dont want to get it spectacularly wrong!

    Thanks xx

I hope someone can help! I made the Syn free chips last night and I have to be honest they were awful! Im sure I must have done something wrong but cant see what! Its hardly rocket science! Help! trying to be good but desperate for tasty chips! :A

what potatoes did you use? The first time i made them, i used Baking potatoes and to be honest the chips were not nice at all!

I swapped to Maris Piper and they were a million times better.

I dont think method of cooking is to blame, i honestly think its the potato itself :)
All hail to the sale!!!!!!

As Marion says, you're not supposed to split your HEs as they are worked out to give you all the nutrition you need over the day.

I went online to the sw site to try and see the logic behind this and found this in the faqs:

Q: Can I mix and match my Healthy Extras by halving the portions?

A: Yes, if you like - you’ll still lose weight beautifully! The downside is your speed and fibre symbols would have to be ignored unless your two halves had identical symbols. However, mixing and matching couldn't be done when there are multiple items in one choice. With all single item choices, feel free!

So surely its ok if you follow the above advice?

I've joined online and set myself the target of two stone to lose, although I haven't weighed recently so will weigh in later and then I'll know exactly what my target is!

Does anyone know where is the cheapest place to buy Mullerlight at the moment or is there another thread for this?

Someone recently posted about breakfast on the go and I think I am going to struggle with this, so will be trying to think up some answers. At least over the weekend there are lots of breakfast choices.

I've never done this before and finding the rules quite complicated so far.

I have a banana and a LF yogurt when I need breakfast on the go. You could also pop some berries in a pot to go with it.

I am amazed that a side salad without dressing has 1.5 syns since it is only cucumber, lettuce and tomato! Useful list though, thanks Mrs Mac.

evening everyone. I went to the cinema with my niece yesterday, and decided to allow myself some flexible syns for pick and mix (I LOVE it and only ever have it at the cinema) Totally enjoyed the sweets:D

Today I knew I would find it hard to get straight back onto the plan (and not either 'try and make up' for them - or think 'oh well, never mind' and keep eating) - tbh this is always where I go wrong - BUT SO FAR;) am doing ok. Its been really hard actually (OH was going to do me wheat-free sausage, beans and chips this evening and I REALLY wanted to say ' oh go on then' - but I didn't as I had used up my syns for the day)

Why am I blowing my own trumpet on here? - well, because if I told any of my friends - they wouldn't really understand why I'm so chuffed with myself today:)
Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Well my friends, take heed! As I hit my mini target of one stone last WI I decided to have a kind of week off (though it's more difficult than I thought it would be). On the way home I impulse-bought Co-operative lamb rogan josh and rice, two for £4. I did the proper thing and checked the Syns, 13.5, so I decided to go ahead and have no other syns today. Well how anyone can make a rogan josh completely tasteless is beyond me - I even ended up adding salt and I NEVER add salt even when cooking from scratch. Just be warned, unless you like food that tastes of NOTHING don't buy them, cheap though they are. PS there were only 3 lumps of meat in there too, £2 per pack was overpriced imo!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

I posted earlier that I had made beef rogan josh yesterday from the SW book -had it for dinner tonight and we loved it -let me know if you would like the recipe...
Would no doubt have been nicer with lamb -but lamb is like rocking horse droppings here ....hard to find :rotfl:...

Well done rupe :T... I don't like many sweets but the sour fizzy ones
