Just found this thread and hoping I can join in too?

Strated SW 2 weeks ago, lost 4lb the first week but have had to take a holiday tonight as I dont feel too well.

Struggling a bit at the minute, not so much with the plan, I do mostly EE, more so I feel like Im cold turky-ing from sugar etc!
I think about food from morn til night!
Hi ebaybaby- in the beginning it does feel a bit like you are thinking about food day and night but once you get used to it it should just be a matter of planning for the week and what you are having each day then getting on with eating it all!
Are you using all your syns? That should help with your sugar cravings if you can have a sweet treat everyday.

Can i ask a question about yoghurt? I seem to have accidentally bought too much.

I have Total 0%, very low fat natural yoghurt, and creme fraiche.

I used the creme fraiche last night in my creamy bacon pasta which was really nice.

I know I can just eat the other two with fruit but I was wondering if there are any good SW recipes I can use them in?
I vaguely remember using Total 0% in curry once.

    thanks
    B.

ps- got dinner's chicken marinading in mrsM's sauce already! smells fab! :D

Well I'd lost 8 lbs in the last 4 weeks but having weighed myself last night I've put 1lb back on but am guessing that's from mother natures monthly gift (feel very bloated and rotten with cramp) so staying positive with it and feeling very glad to be able to have a crunchie on an evening to get me through the next couple of days without feeling bad about it as I'm not going over my syns. I wonder what stress does to my weight also as I've got a 2 day assessment this weekend for a training course which I'm rather anxious about as well as just finding out I have to go to court in september because some prat in a truck crashed into me and almost wrote my car off and is saying it was all my fault. Feeling quite frustrated and it can't be good for me. BUT at least I'm still managing to stick to the plan

Re breakfast, I never ate bf before I started sw and I wouldn't feel hungry until about 2pm and then I'd eat for England :D
Since starting this I have always had Oatsosimple with a chopped banana for brekkie at around 7.45am but by 10am I am absolutely starving!! Last couple of mornings I've just had a banana (so I can save my heb for later) and it's made no difference to how soon I feel hungry so think I'll stick to that in future! I know it's the right and proper thing to do to have bf but I don't see the point in forcing yourself if it's not for you.

Thanks karen and everyone else for the brekkie suggestions.

Today I found an Alpen light bar and a banana was just right :)

Then followed by Ryvita and cream cheese (which will eventually be quark when i get my hands on it!) at about 10.30-11.

I find that a lot of small amounts helps as it is in my nature to graze all day.

ooops I just made some couscous fritters, only half the amount luckily, because I'm not keen :( I've passed the recipe to my consultant though as she was keen to try them but I shan't bother to make them again. I'm going to try the buffalo chicken next though :) nil desperandum :)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
